Yesterday I went to take my sister-in-law lunch at GreatClips where she works. She finished trimming up this guys hair and him and I were talking about babies and pregnancy... He was telling me how his baby was born in April and she spent 6 weeks in an incubator. As he was leaving he said "I just hope you don't have a 9-12 baby." and walked out the door. I have NO idea what this means! I am 24 weeks pregnant right now and have had a very healthy and mostly happy pregnancy so I am not necessarily worried. I am just wondering what a 9-12 baby is. Has anyone ever heard of this before?

I am planning to go to JCPenney, they have a sale going on. I told my husband to set aside $100 and I would too, so that we can buy our two boys some clothes, he thinks it is too much money. My thinking is that this would cover them up for the next two months, including Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

My husband and I have a blended family, he has 3 children and I have 3 children. All of the children seem to be adjusting well except for his 5 year old son. He refuses to eat when he is with us no matter what we try. The only food he will eat is chicken nuggets and mac and cheese and the pasta my husband fixes for him. My husband has assured me that the food I make is all of the stuff he likes but he sits and looks at it with a disgusted look on his face. He doesn't mind being sent away from the table or missing dessert. He will even go without eating for a couple of meals. He also throws tantrums if he is asked to do things he doesn't want to do.. His home life with his mother is not good, they don't have any family values over there and she lets them sit and play video games all day. They don't even get to play outside. I feel sorry for them, we try to make a loving and stable environment for them here. His issues are causing alot of stress in our family.

My sister's baby never dropped and she ended up having a C-section. I do not want this to happen to me.

Are there any exercises I can do or any positions I can sit in?

I am 39 weeks along and my baby is still at a -3 station.

When did your babies finally drop?

In a world that we live in today,Why are parents allowing such behavior from their children? In my day the parents would demand respect but the child also felt compassion to give respect.Teenage pregnancy, drugs, alcohol and all the sexual transmitted diseases today why are the parents letting the children run the household?,,And before any one ask,,yes,,, I have 2 girls 16 and 13 and they DO NOT act out in these ways.

Ok I have been on fertility meds, Clomid and Metformin. The doctor last Sunday said that he saw fluid behind my ovaries, thinking that I ovulated that Friday. The last time I had sex that week was on Tuesday. Could I still be prego, even thought I didnt have sex when fertile. Another question I could swear I ovulated on Sunday (the day I had fluid) becuase my cervical mucus was snotty and thick.

I was having a look through one of the windows at my house yesterday and I spotted my 17 year old son spying on his sister (13 years old) while she was going "#2" I was so shocked by the look on his face poking in from the ajar door that I almost fell off of my ladder!

Last mense on 10/28/2006, expected OVD 11/10/2006 , took HPT on11/16 test neg, took OPT on 11/17 test pos. Does this mean that I am preg or just ovulating late? CM is conststency of eggwhite, clear and stretchy. Next mens due on 11/24/2006.
I've heard that you can test pos on a OPT and actually be preg, because the hormones are similuar.
Do you think that I should wait to see if my mense is late to test again?
I also took HPT this morning and tes neg.
These test ar after a 12week misc.2 months ago. This is cycle 2 after mis.
What do you think?

My 2 year old used to be so easy to get to bed. All you would have to do is tell him it was bedtime and off he would go. Read him a few books and he'd go off to sleep once you were through. Now, I can't get him to stay in bed. This includes naps too. The only time he naps is if we are in the truck running around doing errands, he usually dozes off. At home it's a different story. He runs around all day and doesn't even act tired. He gets upset when you try to put him down for a nap and it's pointless. The same goes for bedtime. Reading the books doesn't help anymore because after we read them, if I leave he gets upset and starts crying, which makes me feel awful because I think about how happy he was just a bit ago. If I sit in there with him, he won't go to sleep either, and if he does, it takes about 2 hours. What I am doing now is setting him up with a movie and letting him go to sleep on his own, but this isn't a very good method. He gets put in his room about 8pm and

I heard from some other parents that a good way to see what your kids are up to is to get a "myspace" ID and pretend to be their age and get them to add you to their friends list. This is the only way to see into their pages.

Well, I did this. I pretended to be a teenage boy and got her to add me to her list. I've been doing this for a couple of weeks now and we have become very close. Although, as her father I know she has been lying to me about her age. She's 13 but she says she's 16.
Well, 5 nights ago she asked me if I wanted to "cyber." I thought this was some kind of game, but then she started describing all the sexual acts she was "doing" to me. In all the police movies they say to never break your "cover" so I had no choice but to respond likewise. Now we've been cybering for the last 5 nights and what I want to know is how the heck does she know all these sex moves at 13 and how long should I keep doing this with her before I confront her about it?

I put him down when I see signs that he is tired, change his bum, give him his pacy. He doesn't seem to wake up nicely anymore, just starts to wail the second he's awake (I have the monitor on and don't hear any movement first, only wails) I usually walk in and he's standing on the side of his crib (is 9 months) I lay him back down (thinking he's crying cuz he can't get himself back down yet) with his pacy (that has not fallen out), but he's right back up again screaming. I figure he's still tired since he's being so cranky, but end up taking him out because of the crankiness. Any advice as to why this is happening. He used to wake up so nicely, just babbling, now it's just a big cry.

And I would prefer not to have any comments about his pacifier. Thanks.

My daughter is 6 weeks old and hasn't put on much weight recently. My wife and I decided (with advice from doctor etc) to supplement her breast feeding with one or two bottles of formula per day.
The problem is she absolutely hates the stuff. I've fed her from the exact same bottle with expressed milk and she took that a few times with no problem, but if either of us try to give her formula she screams her lungs out until she gets breast milk.
We're making it properly (SMA gold) and even tried adding a pinch of sugar to the water to sweeten it (yes we tasted breast milk and it's much sweeter).
I tasted the formula milk too and it's awful, how can i get her to take the formula milk?
