I have to have one in a few weeks. Would a female tell about thier experience? I am scared even though I know it is very rare for a baby to get hurt.

Females only!

I asked this question earlier and maybe I need to clarify that it is to see if my baby could have genetic translocation. I am a genetic translocation carrier. I don't think this can be done by an NT scan but I will ask! And no I will not abort this baby no matter what... it is I THINK to help with either preparations for delivery if something is wrong or to help my child beware if she has this problem for when she gets ready to have kids. I am going to ask the doctor those questions before it is done. I just wanted to know ya'lls thoughts.

Ok heres the deal: he's almost 4 months old, and his doctor told me to feed him rice cereal with his milk(started when he was 2 months because he was so underweight). Can I start giving him juice, too? I've already tried it and he likes it, but my in-laws (who haven't had any children of there own in about 20 years) said it was a bad idea. Can I give him watered-down Juicy-Juice? And when can I start spoon feeding him baby food?

We're going to have another child when my child is 4.5 years. Curious what others found to be the most difficult or challenging part of having a second child.

I know that it is recommended for pregnant woman to get a flu shot but i have never gotten a flu shot before and have been fine, so im debating. Im 24 weeks pregnant and i believe flu season is just starting so i should probably decide soon. Just wondering what thoughts were on this and if there was anyone who did not get the shot when pregnant?

Some women who lost a child through miscarriage, abortion, stillbirth, etc found comfort in getting tgestation dolls. For others, it's disturbing to have one of these------> http://www.homestead.com/godslittleones/index.html

WARNING: Do not view these graphic dolls if you can not view with an open mind.

I have had very sore breasts since ovulation(I use an ovulation predictor kit) mild cramps and this strange discharge. It is weird because it is such an even mix of egg white and little clumps of stretchy stuff. I am waiting until a missed period, but does anyone know about this dicharge (hope I have not offended anyone)

thank you

just got a call from my friend. Her teenage daughters best friend was just mowed down by a car. She was walking to school to sing in a choir concert. Now I know that the person who hit her didn't wake up this morning and intentionally want to hit a 16 year old girl, but crap....this poor teenager is being flown to a trauma center right now.....why can't people just pay the F_ ck attention the the road??? Is what you are doing in the car MORE important than somebodies life??

P.S. I also posted this in another place, but I am not getting any answers :(

I am 17 weeks and I found out I am having a girl. I will know for sure by amniosentisis in a few weeks but should I get my hopes up about a girl? My doc's exact words were go shopping for baby girl clothes but keep the tags on there just to be on the safe side but it looked almost like she had no question in her mind about it.

. . . those stem cells come from embryos that were going to be destroyed anyway. Would you all be willing to carry that embryo to term then? Now that they think that they may be able to have male's carry babies within the next 50 years and deliver via a C-Section, are you guys that don't belive in stem-cell research willing to carry those embryos to term and raise them? And if not, what is the solution here?

My daughter had told me that he hurt her. He heard and said he didn't do anything wrong but just changed her diaper and when using a wipe may have scratched her with a fingernail. It sounded reasonable.... Well I forgot about it because we've been dating for awhile and I trusted him. Also she said nothing else about and didn't act different then usual. Well then about a month ago she did start acting different and he got turned in and arrested. Then confessed and it was awful! He is a whole different person than I knew and I heard the conffesion in court and oh it was just sick how he justified his actions! Is this all my fault? I feel bad that she told me but he had a belivable story.....

ok, it's calmed down quite a bit now. he used to just start crying all the time. and i do mean ALL the time. for no reason!! even to the point where he'd cry so hard he wouldn't breath IN and he'd pass out!!!! he hardly ever does that anymore, but now i have a problem with him EVERY night. when i give him a bath, he's just fine, and all smiles. but when my fiance, (NOT his real mom), gives him one, he does nothin but cry the whole time. she doesn't do nothin wrong with him, she's as gentle as a lamb!! but it's not just when she's bathing him, it's anytime she's doing anything with him. he acts like he doesn't wanna have nothing to do with her! she'll just want to play, or hug him and he'll start crying. then i'll do the same and he'll laugh! how can i bring these two closer together and make him bond with her? please help.

I know the first 3 rows are beige and on the last row of pills your suppose to get your period. Does the last row of pills provoke you to get your period? See, I had unprotected sex (stupid me) and I was wondering if the last row gives you a period, how are you to know you are pregnant? Can it just not provoke your period...or do u actually have to take a test because you get your period no matter what?
