Do the weeks of pregnancy start on the day of your missed period? or on the day of actual conception? Or is it on the day when the egg implants into the uterus? I have no idea!!!!

I am 3 months pregnant... I've been to doctors, they say ultrasound and heartbeat show a perfectly healthy baby. However, I have not any morning sickness... nothing... maybe I am just lucky, but let me tell you...if it wasnt for missing periods, I'd have NO idea that I was pregnant, anyone else feel or have felt this way? Thanks

my son is almost 11 and we think that he might being bullied at school, he has come home with some bruises and a scratch on his face but when we ask him about it he told us that he think he tripped in the bathroom or he said my friend acciddently pushed me or something like that.we think he is being bullied but he won't tell us, he has always honest with us in a tough situation but this is the first time in his life that is he in this situation.and i don't know where to begin to discuss with him.he gets along with everyone in his class and if something arises his teacher emails us about it.

Hi i am 24 and engaged to my man of 3 1/2 years and happy as can be i feel so in love with him. Problems though are arrising my ex. husband who was my highschool sweet heart that i married my second year of college, marriage only lasted 6 months but we concieved a son during that time has come back. He harrassing me to let him see his son whom he has never met and never paid child support for.My future hubby 30 has an ex. wife whom he has a son with who is a year older than mine. She completly hates me and has told her son that i am a whore!She has also said to her son in my presence that his daddy is a white mother f*cker who just likes to f*ck women of color and has no respect for them.A stupid comment because he married her even though she is balck and going to marry me i am spanish.What can i do?her son visits and repeats these comments?Her son also told his school that i hit him! when i have never done anything to him!

I have no problems feeding with my flat nipples but I need to express milk for cerial and other reasons. I have tried two inexpensive breast pumps one manual and the other electric and I can have it on for 30 min and get nothing. When I self express I get milk but it takes for ever. I really can not afford any nice pump[s $100 or more and I live in a small town were my hospital does not rent pumps. Any Ideas on how I could get a pump to work? I have even tried to get the flow going by having the baby nurse for a while then pump, no luck.
My baby is 4 months old and my milk supply is very good and strong.

basketball team. This is in 5th grade and this team was put together by the high school coach - sort of a farm team to prepare them for the high school team. Daughter and most friends make the team. One girl who didn't make the team, with encouragement from her parents, calls one of the coaches and asks to be on the team anyway. After several weeks of practice and games one coach says "okay, come to practices and games". When the girl doesn't get any playing time parents complain. I say they never should have asked to be on the team in the first place - the girl didn't make the cut - that's life. What do you think, try to be on the team or chalk it up to life?

I am having a problem with a situation and could use some advice.
Let me explain the situation...My mother has been inviting my 7 year old to go places with her on school nights and she does this without talking to me first. So I have to be the bad guy and tell my daughter no not on school nights. Well, there are times that I have let her go because grandma promises to have her home by 7:00 so she can get ready for bed. Now it has gotten to the point where she has started coming home later and later. Then my husband and I have to put up with getting a cranky child ready in the mornings. I have tried to ask mom not to ask my daughter to go places with her before she checks with me first. Of course she gets upset and tells me that she is just trying to be nice and give my husband and I some alone time and also she gets to spend time with her granddaughter. So, what I'm asking is..What's a nice way to tell her that this has to stop??? I will consider all advice that comes along. Thanks!!

My 12 year old step-son was just diagnosed with this and now we have to take him to see a psycologist. What will they do to further test him? And do you know if the schools are required to give him extra help? He has a really hard time in school and the teachers are not really helping him right now as he has just been labeled a problem child. But with this new diagnosis are they required to give him the "special" help he needs? (He lives with his father and I and his bio mom is no help what so ever.) Any help would be greatly appreciated! I will be 12 weeks tomorrow, and I have had a constant headache for the last 3 days. I have taken Tylenol and even tried drinking a little caffeine and nothing works. Is this just a side effect of almost entering the second trimester??
