No you don't. Not a silly question if you honestly want an answer.

No such thing as a silly question if you don't already know the answer.
You don't ovulate once you are pregnant. The body recognises a embryo in the womb an will not signal for any extra ovulation as the body is already pregnant.
Some people do have bleeding during pregnancy but this is not the menstruation cycle that would occur after ovulation.
This site explains it quite well.

thats not a silly question at all actually. I'm on child 3 and some friends of mine and I had this conversation a while back, lol. We have actually read things that indicated you do actually ovulate but you don't become pregnant for some reason or another ( I don't remember the article, lol) So honestly I don't know. At one time I would have said definitely not, but now I'm not so sure, lol.

Ovulation is the releasing of an egg, and when you are pregnant no more eggs need to be released. Therefore, no you do not still ovulate.
I have no doubt that there are cases proving this wrong, and there will be a documentary on it on Discovery next month.

Its not a silly question if you genuinely want an answer and don't know. Remember, a question is only easy if you know the answer!!
The answer of course is no you don't, from the moment you conceive that is were it stops.
Starts up again very soon after birth though!

Our bodies are amazing, they work in a very smart way, can you imagine if you ovulated while pregnant...how many more times you would get pregnant while pregnant? at least 9! LOL. But somehow our bodies know that so, it just stops.

No, not usually. Right at the beginning though, one egg could be fertilized (thus you are technically pregnant) and another egg could be released. In this way you could potentially have twins with two different fathers.

no, but some women still get cramping or spotting when their period is due, or when they would have been ovulating. I think your body clock fools you sometimes!
