I know the first 3 rows are beige and on the last row of pills your suppose to get your period. Does the last row of pills provoke you to get your period? See, I had unprotected sex (stupid me) and I was wondering if the last row gives you a period, how are you to know you are pregnant? Can it just not provoke your period...or do u actually have to take a test because you get your period no matter what?

The way birth control works is the first three rows are "active" pills, meaning they contain hormones that prevent ovulation. This means that you dont release an egg at all from your ovaries and this is why you have a low chance of getting pregnant on your pill. The last row are just placebos and dont contain any hormones and thats why you get your period. If you had sex in the first week of starting your pills you may need to get tested but if you have been on birth control for a while you should be fine. You are supposed to get your period on birth control. If you miss a period that means you are pregnant and you should go see a doctor. But if you read the pamphlet that comes with your pills itr should explain all of this in better terms.

I am on Yasmin too, and the last row in just like sugar-pills. They work because the beige pills 'trick' your body into thinking it's pregnant, so when you take the last row, your body doesn't think its pregnant...something like that
I would say if you have been on birth control you probably aren't pregnant. I would suggest that you take a test just to be sure and to feel better about the situation, cause otherwise you will just worry. And it will be hard to tell if you are or aren't pregnant from your period while on birth control.
Sorry I couldn't help too much, hope what I could tell you helps. Good Luck!

YES, the last row means that your period is suppose to come on, and you need to take those pills know matter what. And if you wanna know if you are pregnant set up a appointment with your doctors, before taking with rest of your pills, cause that can be dangerous.

The last row should be a larger dosage of hormones. If you've been taking the pills long enough, your risk of getting pregnant is farely low because those hormones are already in your system, but if you have any doubt wait a couple of weeks and take a home test.

the last row doesnt provoke your period. what happens is the first three are hormone pills, estrogen, and then when you start taking the last row, a placebo (sugar pill) your body counteracts the estrogen overflow with progesterone which causes your period to start. in other words, the white pills (placebos) dont provoke your period, they allow it.
