I've contemplated on getting a fetus doll after i lost my baby at 14 weeks but I found it easier to get over it without having one. But some women found comfort and started healing with a one of these dolls.
Whatever works for you is great.

some of these dolls are fetuses and some are more mature in age but they look very real. That's why we refer to them as fetus or gestation dolls. there's different stages of babies on the site from fetuses to premature to full term.

I have never heard of it. If you are asking my personal opinion I could not have one because I lost and held my baby on my finger and it killed me to actually see it or even think about it. I could see someone wanting one if they were having a healthy pregnancy and wanted to kind of "feel" a representation of the life they are carrying. I was actually wondering if they had dolls like these because I am anxiuos to be able to know exactly how big my baby is.

I have never heard of these before...just my opinion here, I have had a few miscarriges that were very traumatic to me emotionally...however, I do not see that a doll like these would have helped. Close family and friends made the biggest difference. But, if it helps others deal with the loss...then that is great...but I just don't see it.

I dont think they are called "fetus dolls'. These are dolls that are representing premature babies.
