just got a call from my friend. Her teenage daughters best friend was just mowed down by a car. She was walking to school to sing in a choir concert. Now I know that the person who hit her didn't wake up this morning and intentionally want to hit a 16 year old girl, but crap....this poor teenager is being flown to a trauma center right now.....why can't people just pay the F_ ck attention the the road??? Is what you are doing in the car MORE important than somebodies life??

I truly believe life has changed so much even sice I was young and im 33. I feel the same way completly. We just have to be more cautious these days. I currently moved to a new town and I find the people pay no attention to whats going on other than in their vehicle..Im so sorry to hear of your freind . A life time freind of mine was killed this week and left behind a 5 year old son......her boyfreind caused the wreck an killed two people and is tryin to blame my poor deceased freind since they found alot of drugs in him. Thankfully their little boy was in the car and reported that his mother was not driving. God Bless you and your freind an I hope it all works out for the best.

A sign of the times I guess. Was driving along a major 6 lane road awhile back and see this Eclipse weaving all over. Carefully pull up next to the car at the light and the idiot inside is texting messages on her cell phone. And keeps doing it after moving away from the light!!! Who dresses these idiots every day?
I have also seen a fool driving down I-75 at 80 mph+ eating a whole pie...A WHOLE PIE!! No fork, spoon, just chowing on it like a dog.

I too get quite mad at ppl who don't watch what they are doing!! I'm very sorry for what happened to your friend's daughter- I hope she is okay. One thing that REALLY aggrivates me is people who follow cars- they don't look at the red or green light... they just follow the darn car infront of them no matter what. That really makes me mad, and I almost hit them all the time because of it. Now that I have a young son in the car with me lot's, I get super angry because I am a very cautious driver, so when someone does something stupid, I get so mad, I seriously would not be nice in any way if someone did something dumb and hit me with my son in the car. grrr it makes me so angry!

Gosh I so agree with you!!!!! I have never hit anyone in my life - I got hit once - by an older lady who ran a stop sign because her 'windows were foggy' - yup, that's the excuse she used! Even the judge in court said 'if your windows were foggy, why did you attempt to drive?' - she had no answer of course! Some people are just such morons!!!

I'm sorry this happened to your friend's daughter. I don't know what's wrong with people these days. I've seen morons reading a fckn NEWSPAPER while driving. READING THE PAPER WHILE DRIVING A CAR!!!!! What the hell??? Do these people NOT have any regard for other people's life, nevermind their own???!
