Well my son was born with a speech disorder ( stuttering ) and came home today crying because he claimed that his peers were teasing him and making fun of him. Because I was in a rush at the moment I wasn't able too see the kids who were bothering him, I simply had to go. He is still crying and I can't get him to stop. Now he isn't crying like making a scene, he's crying to himself and is trying to hide it. I tried telling him to ignore them but he keeps on telling me about how they wer copying his stuttering. Now I'm wondering if I should go to the school and set up a meeting with the kids and their parents or If I should just tell my child to accept being judged and teased. I would really hate to lose a day's pay for this noncess but it seems like its the right thing to do. How bad could these little 3rd graders be? Please help.
