i need to know when a child is considered alive. is it when you here its heartbeat in the body or is it when the child takes its first breathe

Well from the moment it's conceived it's growing and developing--I don't know about you, but that's "alive" to me.

Im not sure but maybe this will help..i was watching a episode on on law N order and a man had cut the baby out of the womans stomach and then thru the baby away and they were trying to convict him of murder but they couldnt because they did some test's to see if the baby took a breath when he cut the baby out..if the baby did...then it's murder if it didnt, then he was set free...i think thats sick!! im actually kind of wondering why you would want to ask such a question..makes me wonder..i hope you are asking for a different reason!!!!

well logic would tell you if a heart is beating it surly isn't dead now is it? I dont know the law in Co, but I know that to stop a heart from beating is to kill someone.
