ok i dont see why everyone yells at young kids for having sex. you all did it when you were young. right? so whats the difference? i mean my parents lost their virginity young but they would flip if they found out i lost mine a couple days ago and im 14. so what? my mom was 13 and my dad was 15. i just dont get it. maybe its because im young and immature but whatever

The only reason hypocrites dont want you to screw up like we did, having kids way too young and then the children have to pay for these stupid mistakes that you made with your life. and im not sure but ur mom was wayy too young to be having sex and so are you. only if u are on the pill and u know about all the std n stuff should u be having sex with a guy who loves u back.

This question shows how young, irresponsible and immature you are. If you have to justify it to yourself, and other people around you, it should prove to you that you weren't ready. I had sex at 17, but I was completely ready. I am now married to the man that I had sex with. He is the only man I have been with. Sex should not be used for recreation. So, the answer is, I waited until I was mature enough, and responsible enough to handle sex, and all the consequences that might follow. At 14, are you prepared to deal with raising a baby, not just physically, but financially? The answer to this question, of course is no. You are not even legally old enough to have a job. Your parents would be upset because now that they are older they realize that they were too young to have sex when they did, and they want you to wait. It's not sex that's the problem, it's pregnancy and STDs. Since there isn't any 100% method of safeguarding yourself from either, my advice is do not have sex with anyone else until you are old enough, responsible enough, and mature enough to deal with these issues.

Well it is too late for you now but you WILL understand what we old people were trying to tell you when you are older.
you are 14...you want to be an adult....well sex is not how you get that way. It all come with the dreaded ageing. When you do get older and look back you will say...damn...I wish I knew then what I know now. We all say it.
Yep mom and dad did it young. That does not mean they want you to mess up like they did. At least you see you are young and immature...so what you gonna do about it...espically if you are now pregnant?

Actually I lost mine when I was 18 and I was the youngest out of a lot of girls I went to high school with. One friend of mine put it in a funny perspective. She said she couldn't have sex with a guy until she thought she could watch him drop his pants without laughing. And she was 16. That right there is the reason why. I know you think you're mature, but I promise that you still have so much growing up to do. Too bad you won't listen to anything we say and will only do what you ultimately want. You only ask us so you might find another 14 yr old that will cheer you on. Sorry, but it's true.

I'm 15 and still a virgin and I can understand what your saying. As long as you are some kind of birth control, use condoms, don't have many partners and keep it a private matter than thy should respect the fact that you are being responsible. It isn't illegal to have sex at that age as long as it is with someone under 18. They just simply don't want you to make mistakes, it is annoying but that is what parents do.
