How much do you weigh, how old are you, what kind of sports do you do?
If you weight is low you can go without a period completely.
If you are still young and very thin, THAT can affect your periods
If you do sports on a rigid, demanding schedule where you have little body fat, you will have few periods.
Go to your doctor, get your blood work done, a pelvic, and listen to what he or she says.
Good luck, God Bless and have a healthy child when you are ready

It may. Are your periods predictable or irregular? Predicting when you ovulate would be one issue, and the sheer number of times you ovulate (three vs. twelve or so) would be another. For example, if you don't ovulate as often as the "average" woman (whoever she is, LOL!), you'll have fewer opportunities to get pregnant. If you don't know when those opportunities will occur, that will make it harder still.

It's probably something to bring up with your gynecologist. If you try to get pregnant for a year or so and it doesn't happen, you may be a candidate for reproductive endocrinology services.

Yes of course, since you're not ovulating at a regular cycle, you will not know when your most fertile. You can speak to your doctor about that, he will be able to help.
