Pregnancy & Parenting - 9 November 2006

I have a question....not that I am really concerned just curious. I had a baby on the 3rd and his dad is very black but I am very white and he came out white. I was wondering if it takes them a while to get their color or do they not change.

but i throw up 3 days ago, have been tired, had stomach and body aches, be pissing like crazy. I haven't had any mood swings yet though not that I noticed.

i have been in pain for 2-3 days now , i had a milky white milkshake pink discharge that seemed to resemble a show since there was blotches of blood within it , i am also having very bad back ache and within my abdomen a weird popping feeling is this normal for a first stage of labour , since im not getting very strong contractions, however my stomach hardens and i can hardly walk

why do some people act badly toward homeschooling? I worry about what goes on in schools, and I prefer to teach my kids at home where they are safe and have one on one attention.

My 11 month old gave up the bottle at 7 months I feed her formula with a spoon
Now that she is older it is getting very difficult to feed with a spoon
SHe barely has 12oz a day including her cereals that I give her for breakfast and dinner
She eats food well though... she cannot drink from a sippy cup or a glass
she gags with a glass
I know formula/milk is very important i don't know what to do
My pediatrician doesn't help too much

I've been with my husband for almost 18 years , we have 2 children, 16 and 11. I'm 33 and he is 37, we have not ruled it out 100%,.. i'm 95% ready to tie them ,.. but here is the thing,.. what if he turns 40 and decides he'd like another baby and i cant give him one..

My husband and I are trying to decide the best time to get pregnant. Our son is 21 mo. old. If we got pregnant this month, the baby would be due late summer early fall, and our kids would be around 2 1/2 years apart. Is that a good age difference?

I am the main caretaker of my 4 year old niece. She is currently property of the LA county court and we are in a custody battle. The court will not allow us to spank. I have tried everything. Here is a list:
1. Took her toys away
2. Put her in timeout (1 min. for her age so total of 4min.)
Longer if the crime is bigger.
3. explained to her that if we are mean to people ,people will be mean to her, if we are nice...if we give attitude....etc...
4. had her write ten times her crime (the thing she did wrong)
Example: I will not throw sand....I will not hit.....etc.
5. Yes I threaten with the police (I used this because she tried jumping out of the car in the freeway thank god for child locks)
I explained to her police are trained to teach people not to do bad.
6. I used the talking method were I simply talked to her and hoped she'd understand.
7. I have completely striped her from all her belongings.
8. I have ignored her and walked away when tantrums accrue.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

Hello . I have a 4 yr old son that just started preschool 3 weeks ago . He is a hyper child . I am having trouble and dont know what to do about him . As of yesterday he just got on a 10 day probation . If he doesnt change he will be removed from class. I am a wreck . Acedemically he seams well but behaviorally and socially he isnt. He has very good days but then very bad days . One day the teacher says he is showing signs of improvemnt the next she is ready to kick him out . He is having problems listening , following (understanding) orders and doesnt understand a no touching rule as in dont grab a childs hand and play hard . He doesnt hit. I dont think he will start kindergarden next yr cause he is way immature in school setting but dont know what to do as him learning those settings . If teachers always kick children out that need this how do they learn and what do i do . Its hard not to blame myself trying to think if I did something wrong. This will hurt him deeply

about your baby? Im 12 weeks into my first pregnancy and emotional as hell. Im going through a phase of worrying that the baby is going to be healthy, and need cheering up with some nice stories of your little babies and what u love about them. I just can't wait to meet mine!

I missed my pills last month in week 2 and 3 and then started in week 3. I have felt tiard and have to pee alot and I have lost my appitite. I am due again for my period on the 16- or 17 could it be possible that I might have got pregnant last month???
