I'm so sorry that this has happened to you. It's not fair, huh? Well, to answer your question, with my first miscarriage (m/c) I was off of work for about a week and it still took me quite awhile to get back to normalcy. With my second m/c, it wasn't quite as bad but it still did take me awhile to recover (esp. emotionally). While you were not a full-term pregnancy I don't see why your body would take any less time to recover from the hormonal changes and other changes. The hormones themselves can do wacky things to you within the several weeks after. Keep seeing your OB to make sure they test your iron and HcG levels. The iron is to make sure you're not anemic, the HcG is to make sure everything progressed alright. Take care of yourself and don't be too hard on yourself. It does take awhile to get back...just take it one day/hour at a time. It will get better, though. I promise! Take care!

physically and mentally it was very hard on you and yes I don't know anyone that did not feel that way. I lost my first at only 4 months but it was still very hard on me. Good Luck I hope tomorrow will be a better day. Expect to be a little emotional for a while as your hormones get back to normal

Of course its normal. That is a very traumatic experience both mentally and physically. Not to mention, your hormones are now fluctuating with the changes. Give yourself a couple of weeks and I'm sure you'll be back to normal. I am so sorry that happened to you.
