what is nutrient value of an egg, is it adivisable? or there are some risks involved?

I'm asking this for a friend of mine....she had a miscarriage when her baby was 5-6 months old (baby born as still birth). Very dramatic and she waited 4 years and now she is pregnant again. Her question is, will her body register this baby as her second pregnancy or first? Thanks

With the cost of having a child now being More Than The Price Of The Average UK House in the North that is £153,000 from birth to age 21, with the cost rising depending on what region you live in, can you really afford to have a child?

For fun i did the chinese gender predictor and it told me that we were gonna have a girl. Well today we find out its a boy !! yay.. I kno this gender chart thing has worked for alot of ppl, is it possible the ultrasound was wrong? the picture wasnt very clear and she couldnt be 100% although she was very sure of what she was seeing? ... thanks

Will I loose him? He said he does not want to be with her and his family wants him to get married to her for the baby but he doesn't want to... Him & I get on so much better than they ever did... We have so much fun... But I'm worried it's not going to last when the baby comes... She will be living away back with her folks out of London, I don't want to get between him and his baby and I want to give him all the help and support he needs... Should I worry or am I worrying for nothing? She cheated on him with his mate last year and when he found out this year he finished with her and then a few weeks later she found out she was pregnant.... I'm scared of loosing him....

im 16 weeks pregnant and i can feel bumps in my stomach it acually raises my stomach!
is this kicking?
im sure my partner will be able to feel it as i can with my hands.
is this kicking or just my stomach playing tricks?

My son is just coming up to 8. He is very bright, but over the last couple of weeks he is very quick to snap and get angry. We have tried all sorts, from getting cross to trying to talk to him but it seems like a red mist comes down which lasts about an hour before he calms down and then he is sorry. Any ideas ???

You know while watching the Tyra Banks show yesterday I was amazed about the show on homelessness in America. I mean seriously 13-15 smart kids that are homeless because their parents are deadbeats. What does America do? NOTHING. I'm sorry but isn't the government's responsibility to take care of minors who have no place to turn to. The other day the group People For The American Way did a study that showed that if the Feds got rid of the mortgage interest deduction and the deduction for 401ks that money that the government could pay for universal health care, full care for all children under five and universal college. They went on to say that, and I agree, that the true people that benefit from mortgage interest deductions and 401k deductions are people in the top 15%. The other 85% would benefit more AS A TOTAL DOLLAR VALUE TO THEIR FAMILY BUDGET to rid of mortgage interest deduction and 401k and instead provide for free health care, college and day care!!!!

I am breastfeeding my baby and at night she seems to wake every 2 hours for a feed but does not seem to drink much. During the day when she is awake, she is constantly crying for feeding and I have to feed her every hour, again she doesn't seem to feed longer that 10 mins. I have tried formulas but she seems really cranky as I don't think she drinks as much (max 60 ml at a time) because she doesn't like the taste. She now weighs 4kg and has gained a lot of weight so is healthy and definately gettting enough. Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

They feel almost like I have strained muscles around them. It hurts when I go from a laying down position to sitting up. They almost feel bruised. I haven't been in a accident or anything.

If a guy and a girl were to have 'dry sex' (imitation of sex with some clothes on) without protection and the guy's boxers and girl's underwear got damp, without knowing whose fluids those are, what are the chances that the girl 13 days after last period will get pregnant?
Are there any measures that can be taken to lower possibility of pregancy after this has already occurred without using pills or other emergency contraceptives?

I am 36 weeks pregnant and living with the father of my child...We have been fighting non stop and he has threatened to take our son away from me after he is born. I am far from an unfit mother, I do not drink, do drugs, or even smoke. I have 4 other kids and he says it is because of them that he wants to take our son from me. He says it is because I let them whine and don't discipline them enough...I am a good mother....my kids are always fed, clean, in school and I am always home...the only thing I worry about is that he has more money and I can't get a place of my own since I don't make much..Can the courts take away my baby for that?
