My son has been eating an egg a day since he was 1. He is 27 months and has the intelligence and skill level of a 4 year old. If it harmed him I havent noticed! Eggs make the brain grow and work better.

Does your child like eggs?! THen give them to him/her whenever they want them...I'm sick of these studies being done and others who give advice on what to feed our kids...blah blah blah...I'm not saying they shouldn't watch what calories are being eaten..but the child is 2...do you know HOW hard it is to get a 2 yr old to eat ANYTHING?! My son, who will be 3 in Feb...still won't eat meat...exept...hot dogs, chicken nuggets and bologna~ Some of these aren't that great...BUT he's eating..and I'd rather have him eating than NOT eating any meat at all...

Do not try everything too often . Too much of intake for one food might not good to health also . I let my 21 mths baby have eggs , prawn , scallop , fish , potato, carrot , vege ...etc twice
a week . I will change the foods for her each day so she wouldn't be bored of it .
So , u also can try .

I'll bet it wasn't a doctor who suggested it.
Too much of any food isn't good. Eggs are found in many processed foods so eating one by itself every day probably isn't necessary and may even be detrimental to their health in the long term.

my 18 month old son loves eggs, they are great tasting and full of goodies. just don't fry the eggs w/ lard and your kid will be just fine.
