The Summer they turn two. That way they can run around with knickers on and you know that it's warm enough for them. I have 4 children and my last 2 are 2 yr old twins. They have been telling me that they have done 'poos'. But I don't want any relapses cos i'm not very patient.

each kid is going to be different. I had one trained at two and one didn't train until after kindergarden. You have to know your child. You can try to introduce them to the potty with a doll that wets and show the dolly going potty in the potty then "reward" the dolly with praise or a m&m or something and then tell them if they go potty you will give them an m&m or praise. You give them alot to drink on this day then about 20 min later you take them to the potty and you observe them closely. If they look like they are not sure what to do with training pants on you take them to the potty and it needs to be really close. You can even start by making a big deal when you buy the little potty and have them sit on it. once they do do something in the potty you reward them then make sure they are drinking alot of drinks that day and still keep them in training pants ajnd if they have an accident you try to catch them and sit them on the potty to see if they do the rest on there. have them help you take the pants to the washer. It can take as little as a day to as much as months.

It depends on the child. I have worked in Daycare for 5 years and have seen many different ways.
When they see others go to the potty room, they want to go.
Let them sit on it and give them a little time.
If you are ok with it and it's your kid, Let them go with you.
Let daddy do it if it is a boy and Mommy if a girl. If you have same sex siblings let them help.
Don't scold them if they can't do it when you want them too.
I had a little girl who was potty trained in 2 days even being sick at 2 but then I had a little boy who just couldn't fiqure it out and he was 4 heading to preschool.
So be patient and encourage them.
Every child is different and have their own timing.
After your child takes a nap and wakes up. Check their diaper and if they are dry go put them on the potty and let them sit for a few. Praise them lots if they do and if they don't tell them maybe next time.
I have another suggestion:
Read a book about it.
Can't tell you enough to praise, encourage, and be patient with them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It depends a lot on age and gender.
The first clue is when they have a dry diaper overnight.
BUT, trying to potty train before they will only frustrate you both.
