They feel almost like I have strained muscles around them. It hurts when I go from a laying down position to sitting up. They almost feel bruised. I haven't been in a accident or anything.

Please only people with experience with pregnancy.

stretching, and things moving around, normal part of pregnancy to have many aches and pains, try a body pillow and find a comfy spot, don't forget the tummy butter to prevent stretch marks!!!

call your doctor if you are worried-

Hi, I started feeling this in my 7th month and ever since it has been getting worse. I have always carried this baby very low so its not him kicking my ribs, they just hurt when I bend or lay on my side and also when I make a sudden movement. In my case I think it's my uterus pushing up against them, but I at four months this should not be the case yet..hmmmm. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy

thats normal for a womans ribs to hurt while being pregnant all it is..is her rib cage is opening up more so when the fetus grows it will have room to move around and the farther along you get you might see baby feet sticking out between your ribs thats all normal I been through it 3 times...Good Luck On The Baby..wishing you the best and a healthy baby
