Now i have found out that i am pregnant i am unsure about what to do,
Me and my boyfriend are still together, we already have a young child who is 17 months old, and we are in a difficult situation

Help please

My husband and I want to set up a type of reward system for his girls so they can start to learn responsibility. The problem is we only have them on a limited basis because they live with their mom. The main reason for doing this is that the girls love to "win" special treats. I thought if we set up some kind of "chores" game where they could earn points toward special outings (like a shopping trip to the scrapbook store for example) they could have fun and gain a sense of confidence.

So far, we have things like
"Practice reading a story with Dad"
"Complete a page in your math workbook",
"Read a story outloud to your brothers"
"Place your dinner dishes in the sink"

Anyone have any other ideas. We want to keep it fun and things they can do with little help so they can maintain a sense of accomplishment.

My baby has an intense sucking need. She is just now finding her hands and fingers and is trying to suck on them. I would rather her take a passy. I have heard that babies that do not get that sucking comfort have oral problems in the long run. How can I encourage the passy instead of the fingers?

Our baby is due next month, and yesterday my husband and I were shopping for baby clothes and we saw some little outfits for a baby to be baptised in. He asked when would we get him baptised, and I replied that I didn't want him baptised. Religion has never been an issue before. He has a religion and I don't. I believe that our baby should be able to choose whether or not he wants to be baptised. My husband was pretty upset when I told
him I didn't want our child baptised (though he doesn't go to church or anything like that).

Do you think this is fair?
What should I do?

He knows how to write his name..... but why does he continue to write a's and p's backwards???? Is this a phase or throughout the year it will stop???? He is 5 years old. Should I get him tested?????

this is crazy my friend, jacky is christian. But she lies about EVERYTHING. The worst "lie" that she's told me (and still can't figure out to this day) is: she said she got pregnant about a year or two ago in california. and she went ther with her grandma, to get her great g-ma certain medicine. and she said that she got pregnant. and was that way for 3 weeks. and I'm pretty sure that if you're pregnant for 3 weeks that someone'd be able to notice it. Right? and she said that she was in cali for about 3 weeks and a day or two (she gt pregnant a few days after she got there). then she told me the baby died while it was still in her tummy.
and if it died it'd prolly still be in there to this day.
except she was skinny when she left to go to cali. (I was there to say good-bye). and when she got back (we had set up a place to meet).... she was still as skinny as she was the day she got on that plane.Today,Jacky is 13.she said she got pregnant around 11 or 12. I think BS

The Dr ordered this for me. This is my 1st time with the dr. I told him I have been trying to get pregnant for 3 months,and I told him I don't ovulate since getting off the pill. I am sure I have no blockage but it don't hurt to check. Anyway, how was this procedure? Painful?

I took a hpt last night and it came out strange...Instead of one line or two noticeably, the second line that is not pregnant was dark and the first line that means pregnant, when both are on, was half the color depth of the second one.

I have been in severe pain for 2wks now, where I dont sleep, cant eat, or anythingelse. I was trying not togo until my 2nd trimester but I could not take the pain. My ob sent a letter of what the dentist could do. When I went he took a ex-ray with a double vest and discovered I had a severe infection and needed a tooth pulled. I went today and had It done, with NO ephrin-ephrin. My concern is has anyonelse had exrays done in there first trimester and had work done in the first trimester and everything turn out to be fine? (key word, first trimester) I just worry as anyone would.

Friday is less than 30 hours away, and I can't wait for the date!

Problem is, Chrissy is supposedly trying to inerfere with the relationship between me and Erin. Every note I give to Erin, she rips up into confetti.

I give Erin my number. Chirssy makes confetti.

Again and again.

She keeps accusing me of stalking Erin, and says if it goes on, she'll tell the office and maybe try to get me suspended.

So, what is she trying to do?

I am 40 weeks pregnant today and am not having braxton hicks AT ALL.
This is my second pregnancy and the doctors said the head has started to engage, I have an upset tummy last 2 days with diarrhea (sorry!) and the baby has been quieter for these days aswell.
But does no braxton hicks mean labour is still a week or 2 away? Has anyone experienced no contractions and when did your baby arrive after what signs you had?

I am breastfeeding my third child. My seven week old baby refuses to take a bottle of expressed breastmilk from me, so I have to nurse her in public on occasion. Are there any products other than nursing shirts specifically made to assist in covering yourself while nursing, and what are your experiences with the products?
