You could just be stressing yourself out. Calm down don't worry about your missing period. Stress can cause lateness. If still hasn't come in another 5 days make an app with your GYN to get a blood pregnancy test.

Periods can get delayed for a variety of reasons including :
1 stress
2 change of lifestyle
3 losing or gaining weight
4 new medication or stopping medication
5 worry
When did you do the test? If it doesn't come, repeat the test in a few days and if it's still negative you should be definitely not pregnant. If you're worried about your health, don't be. it is quite normal for periods to go a bit haywire at least once in your life. It will come eventually. Good luck.

It really depends on how regular your periods are, it may be that after being a day or two late you've worried yourself so much that its prevented your period. I guess you must have reason to think pregnancy may be a possibility, in which case to calm your nerves I would visit your doc and ask them to do a blood test as that is more accurate at detecting pregnancy than urine tests although they'll probably do one of those first anyhow. Overexercising and poor diet can also interfere with your periods.

If there is a possibility that you could be pg, I would wait a couple days and retake the test. All the tests are so different. The more expensive ones seem to be more accurate. I think your pg!!
