Last night I took my eldest son, of only 14 months trick-or-treating, obviously. Everything was going pretty good, he was a little unsure of it but was happy to hold out his little bag for candy. We reached about our 6th house and things got bad. I was with my sisters and their children and they went ahead of me. When I got to the door the woman was grabbing the candy but stopped and looked at my son. She asked me how old, and I told her, and thats when she stated that he was to young for this. She started going on about me not being responsible (she didn't even know me) and that I needed to take him home. I didn't understand what her problem was, she gave candy to my nephew of only 15 months, but she was giving me a hard time. After she was done she looked at my son and then told me she wouldn't give him any. My son was standing there holding out his bag and she told him no! I finally just decided to walk away, never saying a word to her. Do you think what she did was right?

She lies, manipulates & causes major problems with everyone & knows how to pull her daddys chain. Then turns it all around with her sweet act of innocence and concern of love.

I am having a baby girl (due Nov 30th). I wanted to give her up for adoption so she ca have a better life. I am 24 yrs old, and I have 3 children already. Their father has left us recently and started seeing another lady. I am living with my parents and I really feel like the child would have a better life with a 2 parent home with a mom and dad that can take care of her properly. I just want the best for my baby girl.I am doing the best I can with the ones I have, I am going to school so I can get a decent job and get us our own place but, it is so hard. I just want to do the right thing and want my children to have great lifes. I feel like I cannot raise another child, that I would be spreading myself too thin. What should I do?

He is leaving for continuing army training in two days and he will be gone for two weeks. I just found out today. I don't know whether I should tell him tomorrow or wait until he gets back. Would it be better if he didn't leave with that on his mind so he could concentrate at training? He's rather stressed about passing his tests.

Obviously I guess thats to be expected! But I am 6 months and have already gained the maximum amount doctors will tell you to gain for your entire pregnancy (35 lbs) During my first trimester my appetite went through the roof and I could out eat my husband. Second trimester I haven't been as hungry and cut back on portions and eating junk food. My job that I have right now requires me to do a lot of walking, so why I keep gaining so much I'm not sure!!! Its frusterating though. You know you're fat when even your sweatshirts are tight!! Oh well, can anyone else relate?

I'm 14 weeks pregnant with twins and I have a sinus infection. I went to my regular dr today (not my ob dr) and he told me to take amoxicillin for 5 days to clear up the infection. I told him I was pregnant and he said that it's ok to take penicillin products during pregnancy. I'd heard and read that it's not ok. Does anyone have any personal experience or knowledge about this???

And furthermore, Why the hell are they sending the kids to boot camp, when the obvious cause of the problem is the lazy Overweight mother?? Shouldn't that hyperactive black drill sargeant guy be screaming at them for allowing their child to become such a burden on society? Shouldn't they be sending the overweight lazy moms to a camp where they learn to slap their brat in the mouth whenever they show signs of becoming "out of control children"???

Today I took my dog to the vet, and totally forgot to ask if it was safe for me to give the dog his meds. I'm currently 20 weeks pregnant, and I'm just wanting to be safe. My hubby is in Iraq but in the process of coming home, so I can wait if needed and have him do it. I am just trying to save a call to the vet, and see if anyone here knows if its safe or not. I've read the package, it doesn't say either way.

I already have an 18 month old and was curious to know how easy is it to get pregnant the second time around? My husband and I weren't being cautious, but certainly weren't trying when we conceived our daughter. And now I have been tracking my periods for nine months and know just about exactly when I ovulate. My question is, what is the likelyhood of getting pregnant even if I'm doing everything by the book? We are going to start trying this month.

I went today for my daughter's school confrence . This is my daughter's first year in school. She has never been in a school setting before keep that in mind.
The teacher thinks she has A.d.d. becuase she gets easly distracted looking at what other children are doing. Also becuase she won't talk in school.
My daughter is very smart. She is new to all this stuff. We worked all night on writting the letter A and she got it.
Is A.d.d. overly dignosed? Does it sound like she has A.d.d.

Recently my son brought his last report card home to say the least it he didn’t perform as well as we know he can. The girls have done a great job thus far. The in laws promised to take the girls out to celebrate. When they learned that our son wasn't going, they totally flipped the script, said we were punishing him, they behaved like my 4 year old would when she can’t get her way, etc. and decided not to take the girls. This isn't the first incident my husband and I have had with his parents regarding the kids. My husband and I have sat them down numerous times regarding the kids, and they need to respect our decision as the parents. We feel like we constantly have to explain ourselves as to why we do this or that because they feel we are keeping the kids away from them, etc. This last incident was the last straw; a person can only take so much. I've decided not to deal with them at all. Like for example, when they call I refuse to answer the phone at all. My husband is soon to be traveling a lot on business, and I refuse to deal with them. Especially if we have plans or if they kids haven't done what is expected of them. I refuse to go through that non-sense again with them. Right now, this method is a quick fix but I know I can't do this forever.

She has been toiled trained for a while now and I have used the pull ups at night. Some times they are wet sometimes dry in the morning. I decided to stop using them but no luck. She does pee pee in her sleep. Is this common, does anyone else have this problem? I don't think its considered bed wetting at this age...your stories with this subject??? Thanks!
