Yes, I can relate! I gained 60 lbs with my second child, and I couldnt figure out how because I had nausea all the time. It didnt seem like I was eating very much, but the scale kept climbing...it was so frustrating! One month in my second trimenster I gained 12 lbs between monthly doctor visits.
She is 7 weeks old now, beautiful, and I am working out and the scale is slowly going back down.
Hang in there, and congratulations!

When I just started my sixth month I had people asking me how many weeks I had left. They got a shock when I told them three months. I started out at 125 and when I delivered I was 186. I also delivered a couple weeks early. My baby was 8 lbs and 4 oz. Not a giant but big enough. Every one said I was bigger than a friend that had twins. My doctors were having a fit for me to eat less. I told them at the end I ate a lot of salads and fruit and I still put on the weight. I hated it when I heard girls complain about 25-30 pounds being to much extra weight to carry. I could of been that weight and never slowed down. I didn't feel so bad until I reach about 165. Some times I think people are so worried about weight that even during pregnancy they expect to be thin. I hate that. We also have so many diets now that when we see a woman actually allow herself the freedom to be pregnant and not try to stay a stick, we think that she is a giant. Instead we should be loving ourselves while we are pregnant. Besides you can loose it after having the baby. I breast feed and never exercised or dieted and I was back down to around 130 by the time he was a few months old.

I am 37 weeks pregnant and believe it or not I have gained 65 pounds so far. I gained 5 in one week! Its horrible. But normal. Some woman gain the usual 20.. Ive also had a friend who ate very healthy and still gained 100 pounds. But seriously becareful of what you eat and how much junk food you eat. It can be bad for the baby. I cant stay away from Candy Corn. I even buy it when its not holloween!

Oh yes i can relate.....i am 38 weeks and gained about 45 pounds all together. I gained most of it in my 5 and 6 month and so on. It sucks i wish i would have been more careful. Now since it is so close to birth, its normal to gain a pound a week from here on out. And that's all baby....but i sure do feel it. I can't stand it. I walk too, it doesn't help you maintain or lose any weight it just keeps your blood pressure down. You will gain more weight hunny, sorry to tell you. You gain a pound a week in your last month, so just get ready,....it gets worse.
hang in there

I was in your boat with my son. Ended up gaining 65#!!! And it would not come off!!! Well I lost all but 30#'s of it and I am pregnant with my second. I am 5 months and gained 3 lbs so far!!!!! Crazy huh? Anyways try and watch it for your health and the baby's. Plus it is so hard to get it off!!! You have to continue gaining but try and only gain 10 more pounds (the weight of the baby plus..)...consult your doctor
But you are still beautiful because you are a MOM!!!

I can totally relate. I am 9 weeks and have gained 4 pounds. I hate the weight gain but the baby is sooo cute and sooo worth it. I just wish they wouldn't tell you or let you see what you weigh at every doctors appointment. Maybe I will suggest that next time. LOL.. Good luck and just think of the baby when you feel really fat. It may help.

I gained at least 60 pounds with each of my 3 kids. Yes I felt like a tub. Worry about getting back in shape afterwords. This is the time when you don't have to worry about being big, you are supposed to be.
LOL by the 9th month I'd have to roll to get up from lying down. It all goes away with time

The amount of weight varies with your base size but many other women have the same issue as you. Rather than spell it out and get finger cramps from typing - I have placed the address of a site I have found that has heaps of information from Kitty Baker - she actually covers this and other pregnancy questions on this site below.
Hope this helps.
