He is leaving for continuing army training in two days and he will be gone for two weeks. I just found out today. I don't know whether I should tell him tomorrow or wait until he gets back. Would it be better if he didn't leave with that on his mind so he could concentrate at training? He's rather stressed about passing his tests.

honey, I'm an army wife, and my hubby found out he was going to be a dad after the worst day of his life in Iraq. He was so happy, it just made him feel so good that there is something worth fighting for, worth everything he goes through. He will be so excited, don't worry about him being stress. He should know, he will like being able to tell the guys he's going to be a Dad. And its something that you can talk about on the phone when he calls. HE'LL BE SO HAPPY!

I can't imagine the position you are in, I am sorry to hear about it, but on the other hand congratulations for whatever it's worth. If he is understanding I would probably wait for him to get back to tell him because that's just how I am. I don't like it when people worry about me even though it does make me feel loved and special. I usually ask my mother for help and advice and I try to follow my heart. Also honesty is the best policy especially with the ones you love the most. Just be straight with him. I wish the best of luck to you and take care.

That depends you said he is your bf, not married how close are you...was he wanting this or will it be the biggest shock of his life...don't do anything to take his mind off his training and passing his tests, but you do need him right now as well...If you are going to tell him tell him now so you have a couple of days to talk about it before he leaves...good luck and congrats!!!!

Of course tell him. If he didnt want more stress he should have not had sex until he was married. This is par for the course... you play you pay.

Looks like he has 18 yrs to pay now!! good luck. TELL HIM NOW

I think you should wait the two weeks. It will be better for him to not have the added stress and he can really focus. I think he will appreciate the fact you thought of him and his goals.

I think he should know now. No guy deserves NOT to know he is going to be a father. He will be happy and he will be soo happy to come back to you once he comes back. It will be one more thing that he'll be happy to come home too.

You should tell him now or tomarrow. Definitely tell him BEFORE he goes. If you wait, he might think you screwed someone else, and that the baby isn't his. Good luck and Congrads...
