I'm 34 (almost) weeks pregnant and had an ultrasound because I felt like the baby was on his side. Turns out I was right. My midwife suggested putting a coldpack on the top of my belly and a warm one on the bottom to encourage him to move his head toward the heat. She also suggested some exercises or positions I can do. I kind of have a visual grasp of what she is suggesting but does anyone know of any websites that show drawings of these positions? I'm a very visual person and I think that being able to see them should help.

My son has been throwing MAJOR fits lately. I'm talking 1 - 2 hour long epasodes over ANYTHING. He's never acted like this before.
He wants a toy he flips out screaming, throwing himself to the floor, banging his head, just totally hasterrical. He does the same thing if we give him a toy or if we pick up his brother or sister, at meal time, at bed time.
This has been going on since Sat.
I think it's toddler frustration and try to talk to him and calm him down. If that doesn't work then time out.
My husband will just immediatly spank him and put him in his crib for like 10 - 20 minutes, which makes him even more hasterical.
Now my husband and I are about to kill each other over this difference of opinion. What should I do?
I'm trying to keep in mind that this is about what is best for my son, not who's right and who's wrong.

Okay here are the details: She has been taking Loestrin FE24 (1mg) for just now starting her 3rd month, we have had sex 3 times..Friday October 20th and then 2 times on Monday October 30th....she just began the new cycle of pills and did not get her period last cycle of the pills...i am positive she didnt get pregnant last cycle even the she missed it....the condom was fine and the BC has been taken same time everyday...But the second time on October 30th we had sex and the condom broke for sure....and i did ejaculate, Here is the catch she is almost 16 and i am 18, we are trying to find out as soon as possible what the deal is, without her having to go to the doctor for blood test because of her parents....with her missing the last period for no reason and just beginning the new cycle of pills how soon would a pregnancy test show up? should she stop taking the pill now? what are the chances of her being pregnant (probably not, low, probably?) Thank you in advance

My son has never been in daycare or anythink like this. I've always been a stay at home mom, and he's an only child. My friends bring their kids over and he'll play with them, but if he doens't know other kids that he's around, he shys back, and won't get near them. I was thinking about putting him in preschool a couple or few days a week, do you think it will help, or the teacher won't understand and it will make him more insecure? Do they have preschool where you only go half a day? Any advice?

Any ideas of getting a 7 year old to stop wetting the bed? He says he can't wake up while sleeping. But he also says he's afraid to get out of bed. We leave a night light on in his bedroom and also leave the bathroom light on for him. It's to the point that i have him wear a pull up to bed because i was getting tired of smelling urine. We just bought him a new bed and had to put one of those plastics on the mattress. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

We lost our precious daughter at 22 weeks due to Turner's Syndrome. I went into labor and 12 hours later gave birth to a two lb 1 oz. baby girl whom we named Elisabeth. Unfortunately we knew that we would never hear her cry.

My question is, the doctors told me three months before we try again. I have read that you can just wait one cycle. We want to be pregnant NOW but dont want to put next baby at risk. However Medicaid runs out Dec. 5th. Would like to be preg. by then. I would like to know if anyone had any similar problems and can give me some concrete answers.

I wear right now a 38 D cup. I am also almost 7 months pregnant. So I will not spend 50.00 on a bra that I will have to replace in a month or so. I would like to have as much cleveage as possable & to make them look bigger. A pretty ( not old woman looking) bra would be great! Has anybody found a good bra at JC Penny's or Target or Wal-mart. I will be getting a 40 D this time. Thanks for the help!

i think it should be. i am offended when i see little boys in the ladies room (with the exception of infants.) i sometimes get confused and think im in the wrong roomand then realize its just a rood woman who forced this child to follow her into the restroom. do fathers do that whith their daughters too, i never had to go with my dad but my brother had to go with my mom all the time, i think it would be worse to bring a girl in the mens room sence men dont use stalls though.

I just want to be able to give birth again and love it. I feel like this is my last chance. I'm more verbal with telling everyone my want. But hubby is happy with our 15,11,&8 year olds. I'm happy too, but have room for just one more little one.
Am I crazy or is this the start of the midlife crisis that women sometimes go thru?
For the last 8months that's all that is on my mind is another baby.
Will this feeling go away or should I just find some other way to fulfil my need and want.
I just feel like being all to that little someone.
Any suggestions?

My son is 6 months old. We took him to the doctor yesterday and she said that he had something like RSV.....she put him on breathing treatments. She said that if he started acting different, running a fever, or not eating right call her. Today he wouldn't play around as usual and he's been crying a lot! He was fine earlier----it just happened all of a sudden. At about 7, he started running a fever of 101 and I gave him some tylenol and it went down alittle and I called the doctor.....she said not to worry........but I am.......any suggestions?

I am not a parent of a teen, i am a 17 year old daughter of my parents, anywho... what on earth do you guys mean when you say to kids " i love you, but i don't like you!" my mom said this to me, and i dont see the logic in it...isn't likeing someone a feeling that would come before love, so therefore if you love someone, dont you automatically like them :S Parents are soooo confusing, say what u mean, mean wut u say!

My son has no drive or passion for anything, whether it is food, friends, or school, or anything else. My son has been like this for his whole life and i'm worried that he will not change. Despite my lectures to explain the importance of working hard, to survive this world, he jsut doesn't seem to get it or act upon it.. How can i help make him realize that he must do something on his own to survive this world?
