Well, I raised my niece & have a boy. Little girls sometimes hold themselves & squeeze their legs together, my son used to dance around in a circle but never grabbed himself. This is one of those things that's different for each kid though. You'll have to be observant. After a bit you'll be able to recognize the signs. In the beginning though, you'll have to move awfully fast. Little kids are unable to hold it for very long, so be ready to "scoop & run"!!

believe or not i see that little boys often pull or tug and girls tend to cross their legs i have a six year old daughter and a six year old nephew and that is the only thing i have noticed lol i know stupid observation
