each night when i lay my one year old in her cot she cries which i know is normal in most cases however every night she is sick at least twice I have tried giving her last food earlier incase it was due to a heavy tummy & have tried no drink for bed i have tried loads of things and still she does it have any of you got any ideas of whta i can try thanks in advance

My son screams; just to scream, just to be heard, just to get his way, just to yell at his younger sister, just to say no, for anything, he just screams. He even does this in the middle of the night if he wakes up; I guess just to say, "I'm mad because I woke up, so now I'm gonna scream!"

Sometimes things work; like sometimes, putting him in his room with the door closed works most of the time. Counting to three works, but sometimes not. I just want him to stop. Talking quietly never works, spanking doesn't work. How would you deal with this? He's 29 months, so just about two and a half. He's sensitive and gets frustrated easy.

I'm just looking for other ideas that may work or if anyone else has gone thru this.

I have been blessed with my daughter so far...she's going to be 2 next month and she's only had 1 tantrum so far. We've never had the need to do a time out. I know she's going to have them eventually and my concern is that when we do have to start time out she's not going to be used to it. What do you think?

If u had a positive home pregnancy test how many days past ovulation were you. I'm 16 days past ovulation, no period yet. Is it too early to test if I don't know how long my luteal phase is.

I went to the ER and doctors three times this week. I have not dilated or anything but they all said it is too early to be braqxton hix contractions. I was wondering if anyone eles expreinced this.

I need to know if I should be using crib bumbers in my 6 month olds crib. I am not sure is it is a good idea cause she is now rolling all over and moves herself all around in the crib and the other night her little legs were like hanging out of the little bars. So I need to know if I should be using a bumper? And if I should how safe are these.

Hes 2 and a half, and have been advised in the past to wait til he appears ready. I just dont think that time is gonna come. He sees me and his dad on the toilet, and is interested, but i ask if he'd like to go on, and hes shouts no. I've asked him would he like to do a wee on the potty- still a very adament no! Have bought a duck style toilet seat, which he loved- until i placed it on the toilet, he then screamed and pulled it off- he went ballistic! Have bought "potty stories" which he also loves, but doesnt wish to copy! recently, i told him he would get a sticker if he sat on his potty without his nappy on. He was happy to do this once, but didn't do anything on the potty. He got the sticker, and i thought we were getting somewere, but he wont do it again. he now wants the sticker, but wants to miss out the potty bit! I really have tried everything i can think of. I dont push it, i always ask him calmly, but he just seems to have a fear of the toilet and potty! help

In 2004 & 2005 my cycles were very irregular, I'd have one and then it would be about 2 or 3 months before I seen another one. Currently, I have been getting them every month (39 day cycles). I was due to have one October 23rd, that was the 39th day of my cycle. I have not gotten it yet. As of today, I still feel the pelvic cramps you get right before you menustrate, I've been feeling these for about 3 weeks. I don't show any signs of pregnancy, morning sickness, fatigue, nausea etc. althugh I never felt any with my previous pregnancy. I have only one child and he's 6 years old. You think my old symptoms may be returning, or could I be with child?

What do you pay for all day child care? I want to open one for infants and toddlers. Maybe pre school age kids. I need to know what everyone is charging.

Studies have shown that TV actually kills brain cells, people park infants in front of the boob tube. I just don't understand. Baby brains were never ment to sit and stare at a TV.

I had to stop breastfeeding for 2 weeks due to some medication I was taking.Now my supply is VERY LOW, does anyone know what I can do to increase it naturally..I have tried to nurse my daughter, but it does not seem to be enough to satisfy her, and I end up giving her a bottle, but I would like to continue breastfeeding and stop the bottles.

My husband and I have been trying for our 2nd child since August. Last month my doctor gave me Provera to jump start my system. I started my period 2 days after taking the last pill. I have been charting my temps since then (October 10th). Today is day 22 and I still have not had a temperature shift (indicating ovulation). I have taken OPK's and they were fairly dark the last couple of days, but today it is hardly noticeable. I have always been irregular, but had success taken Provera before my daughter was conceived. So, is this an indication since I have not had a temperature shift at day 22 that I am not ovulating? Just curious how late you can ovulate? Or is it possible that I ovulated without a temperature shift?

Ok heres my deal. I had sex the day i noticed the CM and the day before the day of and the day after ovulation. im ttc. My nipples got really sore after the day i ovulated. Its been 10 days now and they are still really sore. about 5 days ago i developed an yeast infection which im just getting over becuz i have been soo wet down there ever since i ovulated. Last night i started to cramp and had some pink runny with some clear dishcarge but only when i wiped nothing was left on my panties. Today i have to same thing it comes and goes with the cramping that doesnt last long. and its still loves pink and runny like before. how long should this last and what could it be. I have also been really tired threw out the day and go to bed just pooped anymore. my period isnt due till Nov 6th. it feels like im getting my period but no sign of it just the spotting. can anyone help me. Kind words please =D

Ok my last question didnt get across right. My husband left myself which I am pregnant due in just a few short weeks we never fought or anything until I told him I was pregnant again. We have a 4 year old daughter that he didn't want to see for almost 3 months. He left us in June. In May he put me in the hospital from hitting me in the stomach and making me bleed. He lives in GA with his grandparents and cousins a small 3 bedroom house. He doesn't allow our daughter to ride in his car because he said she will mess it up. He left us without any reason at all but we can still talk as friends. Our court date was cancelled but through our lawyers with the divorce I have agreed for him to get our daughter everyother weekend....Thanksgiving and Christmas this year and next year I get her on the holidays. I have agreed to a week visitation during the summer because he works and has no one to take care of our daughter there and says that work and his car are more important than our daughter.

I had a blood test done in UK which shows I'm almost 12-15 weeks pregnant but Singapore doctor say I'm only 6-7 weeks during scanning. During the scan,he couldn't find any baby and diagonsis I've miscarriage. Is it true? He asked me to go back for another scan in 3days time which should show a big difference in the size of the baby. Is it true? What other reasons could it have such that the baby doesn't show. If it is miscarriage, what could be the reason?

I had a miscarriage on 10/19 .. I bled heavily up until 10/26 then it stopped with only light brown spotting every once in a while when I wiped. I was still testing positive on the pregnancy tests up until 10/29 .. I started bleeding again today (not heavy) and I have slight pain in my lower right side (about where my ovary would be) I took another pregnancy test just about 10 minutes ago and it says not pregnant. I am so very confused .. I still in some ways feel pregnant .. then I also dont .. I dont know what is going on. Could this be my first cycle after the miscarriage? I had very irregular (two a year if that) cycle's due to PCOS before I got pregnant so im not used to them ... Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? We want to get pregnant again soon but my body is so weird right now I dont know what to do.

Ok, I have my 5 month home, my 20 month old is with her father in iowa attending a funeral, all four of my kids have been pumkins for halloween, we bought both the girls carebear costumes. Since my oldest isn;t home, should i make my 5 month old a pumkin instead of the carebear?? I don't really want to break tradition, what should she be... a carebear or pumkin???????
