Hello everyone, when I go to the dr on the 30th I will be 9 weeks and 1 day. This is my second pregnancy. Do you think they will be able to hear the heartbeat with the doppler?

I am pregnant with my 3rd baby and due on Oct 29. I have 6 more days. My 2 daughters were both late. My first was 3 days late and my 2nd was 4 days late. Has anyone been pregnant as long as me? Most people have 1 late than 1 early. My doctor said my cervix is low, soft, and i am 1.5 cm dilated. She said I just need some real contractions. She suspects from my previous labors this one should be very easy. My longest labor was 9 hrs and 3 pushes.

I am going to be 6 months pregnant next week. I have noticed that my baby is awake + active at 4-5am and then every 2 or 3 hours. Could this be the baby's sleep/awake pattern when born?

Someone wrote in about the name Espn and everyone trashed her. What is wrong with that, if you can't figure out how to pronounce Espn, then you obviously need more schooling. It is the same as an outdoorsman naming their children, Hunter, Trapper, Fisher, or a firefighter naming his son Blaize. The child is not going to have issues and won't be teased. My sons name is Espn and everyone loves it. No one calls him E.S.P.N., that is crazy. I think that people choose names for there children that reflect there own personalities, (because they want there children interested in the same things they are) and if you are as big a sports fan as my husband and I (naturally or we would not have named our son Espn) then go for it. My son is a HUGE sports fan already by the way, and he is only 2. He plays basketball, football, soccer, and golf. He loves sports so what better name for a future NY Yankee baseball player, NY Giants football player, or Arkansas Razorback than Espn?

This weekend my daughter was spending time over my cousin's house while I was running errands. She wanted something to eat so she used the microwave to heat up something. She put it in there for too long and it burned. It produced a lot of smoke in the house. So when me and my cousin arrived at the house, we didn't know why there was so much smoke. She had gotten rid of the evidence. So we called 911 and summoned the fire dept. They couldn't find anything. I asked several times during all this if she attempted to cook anything and she flat out lied. The fireman then found the burnt peice of whatever it was in the trash. She then decided to tell the truth. I was so angry that I couldn't spank her because I would have beat the s*** out of her. So I removed myself from the room to calm down. Now I want her to remember what the hell she did and know that there are serious consequences for lying and causing problems of that nature. Please give me some unique ideas.

I have anemia and need to take more iron my doctor gave me repliva which is making my stomach hurt I know iron makes your tummy like this but I stil take it to be safe. I will ask her If I could drink someting else but, Did you have this while prenant? What did you take?

i had the nummbers 2s bad friday night thought it may of been because i took prunes to unblock myself after 4 to 5 days without going to loo anyway all weekend i been throwing up after my breakfast and feeling sick till evening then feel ok also parkin seems to talk the feeling sick a way i am due on the 1st of november i had 1 day period last month for 1 day but was real heavy i took a 2 tests week after but was negative what you think tummy bug??? can you get blocked and bad poos if pregnant i been trying for a baby i have pcos which i find it hard to concive i keep burbing too

Mine was our next door neighbours child not ours (ours are complete angels - yeah right!) It was a wet rainy day and my neighbour was out shopping, and she stopped to get some money from the A.T.M, looked down and here was her 2 year old son on all fours, drinking water from a puddle like a dog! Still cracks me up when I think about it a year later.

Can anyone "enlighten" me as to why an American, living in America, would want to adopt a babies from abroad instead of an American baby? Its like people dont even see that there are orphans in America and that the "system" here isnt so great either. America seems to have its priorities screwed up, "help other orphans from other countries, who cares about ours?"...right? I personally think these celebs are doing a disservice. I understand that Africans arent doing terribly well, but this is where the list of priorities comes in.

i ovulated about 7-10 days ago and i have been getting a wet discharge lately. constantly feeling wet but not so much showing up on under garments, just when i wipe it will come off.

I questioned pregnancy about a month ago. I had all the symptoms along with what I guess turned out to be a false positive. I went to my doctor to get a test and it came back negative. The next day I got my period, it was somewhat normal but didnt last as long as it usually does. I keep track of when I am due and get my period along with when I am expected to ovulate. Last week was my fertil week, ovulating last Wednesday. Now with my lower abdomen area, I am having discomfort and an annoying pain. It is nothing severe and there is no bleeding. I do have another appointment scheduled for Friday, I just would like to know what anyone thinks. I am not due for my period again til November 1st so it would be to early to take a HPT. I have read up that within the first week of pregnancy some women may experience this due to the muscles & tendons stretching. I am not sure if it is because I am pregnant or something else. Anyone have any views/similarities of this?

Potty training my 2 girls was easy. But trying to train my little guy is like trying to get water out of a stone. He doesn't want any part of it at all. Put underwear on him and he is fine. Sit him on the potty and he doesn't pee, take him off and he pees his underwear. HELP!!! Any suggestions.
