Well of course I sound biased because I have two boys, but I really think girls are tougher. In my opinion (which probably isn't worth much) girls seem like they whine more. Also- I'm just not into playing barbies and tea parties. Plus as we all know when girls get older they get their period then mom and daughter may bicker- I know my mother and me did. Girls seem more expensive- they usually care more about fashion and looks. I think a lot of people have ideals that they will be best friends with their daughters- which is great, when it happens. My mother drives me crazy, I still love her- but we are definately not best friends. Of course my ideal for my sons is that they will be mamas boys forever and never do anything wrong so I guess I'm dreaming too. The other things, if I had a daughter I would be a nervous wreck when she started dating or that someone would take advantage of her. Of course I'm saying this as my 10 month old son is screaming!!

Hmm...well if you had asked me a few years ago, I would have said boys when they were younger and girls when they are older. However one of my 2 year old twin girls sure gives me a run for my money. More so then my son did at this age. It's like she is twice as bad as he was then LOL.

Although I am not looking forward to having 3 teenage girls. That is going to be hell I am sure. I just keep thinking of everything I put my mom through and she only had one of me :P

Girls in my opinion are easier. My daughter was great, didn't have any problems with my pregnancy, birthing, or after she was born. Even when she was sick and cutting teeth she was a dream child. My son on the other hand was completely different. I had problems through my pregnancy, problems when he was an infant, and now the terrible twos. They are and were very different all the way through.

well, i have 2 boys and they were SOOOO HARD when they were younger - i mean all the way from birth until about 5. Now they are 8 & 10 and they are the best kids in the world! They calmed down around 5-6 yrs old and are getting easier every year. boys are very rough when they are younger and like to climb and knock things down and get into mischief :) but thats fun right? lol. now my friends who have girls say they are opposite. girls are more gentle and "girly" and alot easier when they are younger but as they get older WATCH OUT! they are sassy and boy crazy and more expensive....but i say its all in how you raise a child too! its so much fun if you do it the way you feel is the right way to raise a child. my boys are so respectful and obedient and FUN FUN FUN! good luck to you :)

Girls, because of the pressure to look older than you are, the way they emotionally abuse each other, and the pressure to have sex, and trying not to have a slutty reputation at the same time as being pressured to dress like one. Definitely harder to get a girl through that. My niece is the same age as my son and I think I had it easier.

i think in the beginning a boy is harder because they are constantly on the go but as they get older it depend on the issues that your kids run into. It just depends on how well you handle them.
