I am pregnant with my 3rd baby and due on Oct 29. I have 6 more days. My 2 daughters were both late. My first was 3 days late and my 2nd was 4 days late. Has anyone been pregnant as long as me? Most people have 1 late than 1 early. My doctor said my cervix is low, soft, and i am 1.5 cm dilated. She said I just need some real contractions. She suspects from my previous labors this one should be very easy. My longest labor was 9 hrs and 3 pushes.

My first was born on her due date with no induction, the second was born 2 weeks late and had to be induced, then the 3rd was induced 3 days early (I was dilated to 5 already). Honestly, I don't think that there is really any way to know when they are coming or to get them to come when you want to short of actual induction... just my experience. Good luck and congrats!

I was late twp weeks w/my first.
And 3 weeks early, with 2.
And two days late with 3, but induced by request. I am sure he would have hung in there as long as possible.

try going for a swim or walk or try having sex to help the labor process
