Hello everyone, when I go to the dr on the 30th I will be 9 weeks and 1 day. This is my second pregnancy. Do you think they will be able to hear the heartbeat with the doppler?

Well MacDoodle, I am sorry that I cannot be a perfect know it all like yourself! I don't remember so I figured I would ask in case a now pregnant person had experienced it.

I was 9 weeks and 2 days for my first visit and heard the heartbeat loud and clear! I am also naturally thin so there was very little fat on my stomach, which makes it easier to hear.

maybe or not.
With my first, we got it at 8 weeks.
second didnt go to the doc. till I was 4 months. and third, they could get the h/b @ 12 weeks, so we did and ultrasound @13 and it was there.
Good luck, my apt. is tommarow, and I am praying @ 10 weeks it's there too!

9 weeks is the time that they usually want to see you for your first appointment and they will look for the heartbeat and you may get a ultrasound depends on your doc though

I think average is around 11 weeks or so. If you don't have a lot of "extra padding" around your middle, then you'll be more likely to be able to hear it early.

yes, I heard mine at this time with my first birth!
im 9 weeks as well and have my 1st drs appt on Thursday!

get a book or two from the library on pregnancy.
especially since this is your second and you don't know.
good idea to find out the basics before the third.
ask the MD lots of questions!

i had found this website babycenter.com and you can put in your due date and stuff and they tell you a lot about your baby while it grows.and shows you pictures of what your baby looks like.i would go there.good luck.

possible, but my girls were shy, and my boy isn't. just depends. But ya its possible.
