he still takes 4 bottles a day and he is 9 months.he drinks from a sippy cup but they say that it is bad for you to put it in a sippy.and how are you suppost to give them milk if you shouldn't put it in a sippy cup i'm really confused on this someone please help me understand.(first time mom) also i am very concerned about his teeth because my are so bad due to floride overdoses when i was a child. i don't want the same thing to happen. also my mother let me drink milk from a sippy i think that it excellerated the problem.

My partners dad is a twin (the other died at birth). So i hear alot of people say it skips a generation but is it more likely for his siter who is over a year older then him to have twins or is there a 50/50 per cent chance it could happen to any of them meaning her or him. There is just the 2 of them no more siblings. And is there a better chance cause i have twins and triples down the line in both my mum and fathers families but is not the generation before its further back down the line?

I am 38 1/2 weeks pregnant with my first baby. At my last appointment I was 1cm dilated, 100% effaced and soft. I have been like this for 2 weeks now. I was told once you hit 100% effaced it wouldnt take long to dilate. Has anyone been like this? and for how long? My baby has already dropped and head down, the doc. can push on his head when he does an exam. Last time they thought I would go into labor in a couple of days and now it seems my contractions and everything have just completely calmed down and nothing is happening. Its funny because I went into preterm labor 2 times and they had to stop it and now that Im not taking anything nothing is happening. Anyway, what do you all think (I know your not doc. just want some experiences). Has anyone had this happen? Thanks for all your help!

At that time, he showed signs of readiness. He then simply began refusing to go to the potty & then began to tell me, while laughing, that he just peed or pooped in his pants. He REFUSES to sit on the potty at all. I have tried to even offer going outside or in the shower. I have taken diapers away completely & he had an absolute meltdown. I have bought a seat to fit on the toilet, a step stool, & a potty chair. He refuses each way. He peed his pants yesterday & kicked and screamed for me to change him & put a diaper back on. I explained no more diapers. We are using underwear with vinyl pants over them. He hasn't pooped in 2 days now & I am getting worried. He is NOT afraid of the potty; he is just extremely strong willed. I did manage to get him to pee in the shower this morning but he refused the rest of the day, peeing in the floor tonight. Any suggestions?

like tenderness of my breasts and this never happened before.
headaches when i wake up in the morning.
backaches all the time.
now i started bleeding.
i don't really know when the last time i had my period but i know that i missed it already.
my nipple is so sensitive to touch it hurts so bad.

I'll get right to the point: I had a baby five months ago. I am a breast feeding mom. My husband and I had sex right before he left for basic training two weeks ago. About four or five days ago, I had some light bleeding and cramps so I thought I was have a period but it stopped after two days. I'm not asking if I could be pregnant. That's a duh. But I was just wondering: if you are a breastfeeding mom, when did you have your first period after you had the baby and what was it like?

started last night. this morn was 102.2, then afternoon 102.5, now 103.9... goes down with med. have been alternating between motrin and tylenol... on pedialyte and water... also having diarreah.. any suggestions?

As we just waited for ovulaion to get started and from that day we sex dail, if just after 30 minutes i go to fresh room .. have seen just a one drop of sperm is out ... if go to fresh room just after such time can be a problem ,or one of the reason of not getting paregnent.

I really want to get pregnant, i read the stupid "doctor" answers and most of them dont work. I want a baby really bad! I thought i was pregnant before and come to find out it was a false alarm now that thats happened i want to have a baby. I fell down to stairs. I slipped and landed on my back, I have a sore neck and a big bruise on the middle of my back. There doesn't seem to be any problems with the "baby" but how would I notice or would I even notice??

My four year old loves to give me money because she says "you did a good job mommy- here is some money." This is money that she earned from helping around the house. I love that she wants to share but I feel bad taking it. I usually try to convince her to keep it then I see her little eyes. I then decide to take it and later put it back into her piggy bank. Is this the right thing to do? What would you do?

she hates kids, get it?!! not pro life, ok!!!? and then she said to me if her worst enemy had a baby she'd take it in. if it was anyone elses baby she wouldnt. i want real answers, not "shes pro life" because she made it clear to me that she isnt. she also told me she never wants kids, only if its her worst eney's kid would she want it. what are her intentions?!!!! tell meeeeee!!! My son is allergic to milk. He had a blood test done, and it was confirmed. His allergist said he would be ok on soy milk. Is lactaid a soy milk? Is it ok to give to him? We are trying to wean him off his formula to soy milk, and wast sure if this was ok to give him.
