for hundreds of years, women who didn't want their baby would intentionally fall, or do laborious activities to try and miscarry, but that only works if the baby had a problem to begin with. The fetus is really well protected against bumps and jarring.
signs might include bleeding, and if you're really worried go see a Doctor, but there's a very slim chance anything has happened.

working at a hosptial....its not healthy to have vaginal intercourse for up to 6wks. some say 8wks to be safe. Nor are you suppose to put anything like tampons and such. Was it medical or the vacuum? Your cervix is still trying to heal from the procedure so its very fragile right now. Also because you get a really bad infection. Are you even done with your antibiotics yet? Next time, be more cautious, and read the material the adminster before the procedure. Its to better yourself and knowledge and also to preserve your body in case in the future you ever want to have children. The only way you may be infertile is becaue you have a lot of scar tissue left in your uterus and cervix. But, dont worry to much, theres been women who unforunately have had 12 or less abortions and still have kids. Im not recommended this of course, but just to ease some worriness! And BTW dont listen to everyone who puts you down about this. Only you and God know what the reason was. Good Luck, hope this helped!

If I was you I'd go to the doctors and get checked out, just incase. Something might be wrong, but sometimes it takes a while before you even notice. Believe me, you'll want to make sure everythings ok now, than find out its not in a few weeks time. I hope everythings alright, x

Just to be on the safe side, i would let your doc know. When I was 5 months i fell down an escalator and was so scared that something was going to happen to the baby. I didn't land on my stomach, I landed on my side. Call the doc and have them check on the baby

While your baby is tucked away nice and secure in it's little amniotic home, you really should call your doc and let them know what happened. More than likely, they'll want you to come in for a check-up and ultrasound just to make sure you and baby are fine...

Your baby is probably ok but you should have called your doctor the second you got up from falling. You should go in for an early sono gram. I hope everything is ok and I hope you feel better.

I know that's right, Niche Jerk... it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know if you are 6 weeks pregnant, fall down the stairs, feel pain... that you need to see a DOCTOR!!!

The best way to know if the baby is ok is to see a doctor.

You probably wouldnt notice - but I would tell you doctor and you may need an ultrasound to make sure everything is okay internally.

Look out for bleeding and cramping, but you should call your doctor or midwife anyway to see if they want you to get checked just in case.
