ok, well im kinda freakin out here.. i take birth control pills.. and last month i kept on taking em so i wouldnt get my period wich u can do.. but im not suppose 2 start till the 16th of oct.. but last week i noticed when i went 2 the bathroom on the toilet paper was this brown/light redish looking blood and ive had a headache like everyday. but the brownish blood lasted a few days its gone now.. is that just like spotting b4 my next period or should i b worried?. also my stomach has been hurting kinda like a cramping feeling .. which makes me think im goin 2 start my period.. and also i had sex 2day was that not such a good idea??

I took a test right before surgery and it came back negative. At that point I was only four days pregnant to early to tell. The next week I got a blood one and I am pregnant. So I was four days when I had surgery. How will that affect the baby?

My 7 month old baby girl has had a fever for three days. I took her to her pedi last night and she checked her ears, nose, throat to find no visible infection. She has lost her appetite, (a little bit), she does not want the bottle, only breast. My hubby and I felt sick the same day she started as well.( were fine now) Her fever has been btwn 102.2 and 100. She was put on Amoxcicillin and Albuterol. ( really bad cough and congestion). The doc took some blood and will have the results back tonight. What could it be? Thanks

I have a 4 year old daughter and a 1 1/2 year old son. This is the first Christmas EVER that I am stumped on what to start shopping for. They have so much stuff! Of course, I would like to get them toys because 1) That's what Christmas is for, for kids... and 2) because they're learning and interests are expanding. My daughter was into Barbies, doll houses, pretend play, dress-up... I just don't know if they get boring to her...
My son, I just don't know.
Please, interesting answers... I'm the type of person to buy for learning, the sake of enjoyment and what you get get for the money. I don't buy just because they need gifts.

This may be silly but I really want to know what ya'll think. I am 23w3d and I want to eat healthy for my baby but I work 40 hours a week and it's really hard to fit in all the fruits and veges I am supposed to be eating each day. How do you do it? For example, yesterday I ate: 2 bagels with cream cheese, a microwave meal of cheese and macaroni, A yogurt cup, and a double cheeseburger with fries from McDonalds. I know this is a silly question but I am just concerned that I am not eating healthy enough, I just really have a hard time eating in the mornings and then for the rest of the day I only feel hungry for junk food. What do ya'll eat on a daily basis to keep you and your baby healthy? Are my eating habits totally bad?

I think I am pregnant. I keep up with ovulation, BBT, and cervical mucus. Last Thursday I think I had implantation bleeding and felt a little sick for a day or so... Then my lower ab area felt tight sort of and is just now starting to feel "better" or more normal. I know my sister ahd something simular and now she has a 6 month old. My cervical mucus is sort of milky.. I still feel different down there. I have taken a test and it said negative, but I think it is too early. I am going to test again in about a week. I have also felt a touch nauseas (don't know how to spell) off and on. Oh, and tired. My boobs seem like they are doing something, but it is too early to tell.
Has anything like this happened to anyone else? Please tell me how it was for you!

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of symptoms they have when it gets to be time for your period. I want to know if mine are normal and if anyone else symptoms like mine. I usually lose my appetite a day or two before my period starts. I also start to have weird dreams. Usually two days before my period starts I wake up feeling fine but sometime during the day I feel sick. I get very weak and lightheaded and feel kind of sweaty and no matter how cold the house is--I'm hot! I also (sorry if this grosses anyone out) take a big poop the day before--always. Does anyone else have any of these things happen before your period starts? I'm just curious...thanks!

Also how did you get all your nutrients? I'm currently 7 weeks pregnant and I can't seem to eat or when I do I just want to throw it all back up. I keep my vitamin down in the morning with a glass of milk but that is about it. The only thing that seems to settle my stomach is potato chips and sprite and this is in no way healthy for the baby. I am going to discuss this with my doc at my next appt here in a few days, but I was just looking to see if you had any advice and what you did. Thank you for your answers.

My cousins 13 year old step son is failing 65% of his classes because he admits to being lazy and not turning in his homework. He also doesn't take a pencil or book to class. He has the potential to get all A's. And currently he is getting A's in Social Studies and Spanish--but failing Language Arts and Math among others. She has taken away all forms of entertainment TV, Games, etc. He goes to school, comes home and does home work, and then does chores around the house after dinner and goes to bed. She has even taken away trick or treating. He just doesn't care. He has been hanging around with some bad kids who talked him into stealing a bag of cheetos from a grocery store last week. He was caught but the store didn't press charges. However his school made him go to the jail on Saturday and watch a video and meet a kid from the video that's in jail and he also had to go to the grocery store and do community service for 2 hours. Nothing seems to phase him....what else can she do??
