Maybe the text message didn't go through or maybe she's offended that you text messaged her. Texting is so impersonal. My family doesn't even live in the same town I do. We live 2 1/2 hours from each other, but when my husband and I found out we were pregnant, we drove down that weekend to tell the whole family. If your sister doesn't live as close, you should have picked up the phone. I'm sure she would have rather heard it from you and not read it on her phone.

I'm sure that if this is the case, she'll get over it eventually. When one of my friend's got pregnant, she texted everyone. She lives in California. Well, one of our really good friends who lives in New York called her and was very offended that she couldn't just call her. What made it worse was that as soon as she got the text, she called our friend back and her phone went to voicemail.

Hi, im sorry you feel the way you do, being pregnant, you can become very emotional. Maybe she didnt get it, never leave important issues up to electronics, its always best to do it yourself, like calling or face to face. Besides, youre happy about the pregnancy, right? So tell her on the phone, or go to her house, that would be the best way to be sure she knows whats going on with her lil sis.

Your sister may not have gotten the text yet. I wouldn't take it personal. With her baby being only 5 months she may not have the time to text you back. If you really need to talk to her then call her.

I wouldnt take it personally just yet. Maybe she is busy or didnt get it. I do think I would have atleast called her or told her in person but that is just me. She probably just hasnt had a chance to call and speak with you about it. Dont feel bad though my husband and I are trying to have another baby and my family think I am crazy. Good Luck

Shouldn't you text message the father of the baby first? That's what I did. Then I started calling my mom, my mother-in-law and my friend. Nobody answered the phone. I really felt alone that day.

Your sister might be busy or away from her phone.

How Tacky..seriously. My best friend did that to me a few months back and I didn't respond because I was in the middle of my vehicle being broke down. She got mad at me for not responding...we no longer speak.

To answer that we would have to know the relationship between you and your sister... are you close... is she your confidant.. is there sibling rivalry.. You are not alone by the way.. you have something really beautful happening within in you as you read this.. rejoice.. be happy.. and have a chat with sis..

Maybe she's busy with her baby and can't text you right now. I don't know why you feel so alone. Maybe you should text the father!
