THERE IS A PRODUCT CALLED HYLANDS TEETHING TABLETS, THEY ARE ALL NATURAL AND THEY DISSOLVE ON CONTACT WITH THEIR MOUTHS. THEY WORK GREAT FOR MY SON. I ALSO CUT UP BANANAS AND PUT THEM IN THE FREEZER, SAME IDEA AS THE TEETHING RINGS BUT MY SON SEEMS TO LIKE THEM BETTER.

There is actually a NATURAL teething pill that dissolves in the baby's mouth. It's a LIFESAVER and has helped my daughter sleep at night when it's the most painful. We also use Orajel liquid (easier to get ON the gums than the gel, which can slide off your finger) and Ibuprofen. You can find all of these at Wal-mart, Kroger, and pharmacies in the baby care aisle! Also try a wet washcloth that has been put in the freezer. She can chew on the cloth and it will help (cheaper than teething rings).
Good luck!!!
It's called Hyland Teething Tablets. They have NO taste, unlike the Orajel. My daughter opens her mouth right up for them, so I know they don't taste bad (plus my mom and I sampled them just to make sure!!)

There are several remedies. You can try the teething rings that you put in the freezer, you could try a cold wash cloth, Baby orajel (or some other brand is fine), infant tylenol as directed on the package.......sometimes a baby just likes to chew on a person's finger.....anything to help with the itchiness, and soreness of the gums.

Those water-filled teething rings are nice (but do NOT put them in the freezer--the tender, swollen gums are way too sensitive for something rock hard and ice cold to be on them). They're made to be put in the fridge for a few hours. You can also try Orajel, Hyland's Teething Tablets, numerous teething/soft rubber toys, or as a last result, Tylenol.

Wet a washcloth and put it in the freezer for 15 minutes and give it to the child. The iciness soothes the gums, while the softness of the cloth won't irritate them. Works great!!

I helped soothe my son's teething by giving him a clean wet wash cloth to chew on. It helped him tremendously, and his teeth broke through faster. You can also try the teething tables. They look like little white balls and disolve quickly in their mouth.

If not a cold teething ring then a cold baby wash cloth. Wet it and put it in the freezer. Its not too hard but it feels really good to their gums.

Infant tylenol, cold teething ring or put a damp cloth in the freezer, there is also a gel that numbs the gums to help. My grandmother said she always put Brandy on our gums when she watched us but I never did that to my son.

If she has a pacifier, you could put anbesol on the nipple and catch her mouth open and stick it in there. It will actually numb her entire mouth. I did this to my boys and they loved it. I also know someone that put carrots in the freezer and when her boys were teething, she would get them out and let them chew on them. It did turn them orange though, but at least it was healthy.

Baby Oral-gel, a liquid teething ring thats been in the freezer.
Back in the day, my parents would put whiskey on their finger and rub a bit on gums...kinda numbs it.
What ever you try, just have patience....all the fussiness can get to you.
