I have been on the same pill for 8 months, the first 6 months were fine and last month I had spotting and cramping while taking my active pills. This month I am having cramping and a lot of clear liquid discharge, but no spotting. I haven’t missed a pill, and I took two pregnancy tests last month and they were negative.
I went to the doctor last week and he said I was not pregnant (but he didn’t give me a test) and said it was just a common thing that happens with the pill. I am thinking about just throwing them all out and using condoms until my hubby and I plan to conceive in January. I still have a 4 month supply of pills left (cost me $50!), but I am sick of the constant cramping. After 5 years straight of taking the pill, my body needs a break!
Should I just throw out my birth control pills now since we plan to conceive in 3 months?
Could I be pregnant even though I have no other pregnancy symptoms?
Can a doctor tell if you are pregnant from your yearly exam?
