Pregnancy & Parenting - 9 October 2006

My girlfriend is 6 days late. She is usually very regular with her period...she gets one every 26-31 days. However, today is day 37 and there is still no period.

We used condoms EVERY time. There was no slippage or tearing. I even pulled out before I orgasmed...EVERY TIME. She has all the usual cramps...but no pregnancy symptoms like nausea, headaches, dizziness, sore breasts, etc. She keeps getting a lot of mucous every time she goes to check for her period...though this is quite normal for her...she gets a lot right before every period.

Me and her are very stressed about all this. We are both only 18. Are there any women on here that have very regular periods but have been late because of worrying if they were pregnant? Could this be why she is so late?

I know it is different for everyone but i just wanted to hear experiences from others who have recently stoppped taking the pill. I feel like i may be pregnant and this Friday will be day 28.

first off im 16 but dont give me a bunch of bs about this well i just found out that i have a conditoin that will make it so in like to yrs i cant have a baby because it is the start of cervical cancer my mother had the same thing and she kept putting it off to have a histdarectamee so she could have me which nearly killed both of us well if i wait like she did then the longer i wait i ovulate less and less she ovulated 3 times in 15 yrs that makes it like finding a needle in a hay stack to get preg well to the point me and my bf are very stable in our relationship and have been dating for almost 2 yrs and my mom knows what is goin on and she told me its my choice whether or not i decide to have a baby this early to avoid all risks she had and me and my boyfriend have decided to try for a baby when is the best time to get preg plus ive been told by doctors i only ovulate on my period when do we try but avoid doing it on my period plz help no jokes plz

I have a fetal doppler monitor and when I put it to my lower left abdomen real close to my pubic bone I hear that beautiful swooshing hearbeat that I heard with my first two pregnancies. With them I did not hear it until later (11 or 12 weeks). Is it possible that is what I am hearing now? What are the possibilities that I will miscarry now that I have heard that sweet sound? I have had two previous miscarriages, neither of which got to this stage...I am scared. Afraid to get happy for fear of getting "smacked" back into an awful reality...

make it work but he has a addicition problem and makes empty promises, should I just stick it out until I give birth or go it on my own since I know he will not change? We have been together for years and already have a child together?

when he was born he had pneumothorax and stay 7 days in NICU. and we didnt get to hold him until the 6 day. he will sleep in his babybed for about 5min and thats all.

I just got my son his first pair of shoes and he screams and cries everytime I attempt to put them on him....if I can EVEN get them on him. He usually curls his toes so it's impossible to put them on. He's a little over 9 months old and has been walking for about three weeks. Should I just bag the idea of shoes for now?
Any tricks of the trade or suggestions you are willing to share will be most helpful.

hospital how does it work how many centimeters do you need to be are you suppoise to wait untill your water breaks and how come in sex ed they never told you about delivering the placenta after giveing birth? i just now heard about delivering the after birth and im 20 is that sad or what exspeacially since im like 6 months pregnate!:) how does it all work? how did it go down, when you gave birth moms give me some clue on what im getting myself into please :) thanx for your time!

am a 17 year old girl dating this guy who is in his early 20s.i love him soo much that i allowed him to break my vaginity which i had always treasured so much i kept intact eventough i have dated five guys and droped them because they where demanding for sex.now i have being together with this guy for three years and now i see some attitudes about him which is bad. when i talk to him about them he either gets angry ortell me i have insulted him. i feel he loves me so much but i complained about his behaviour when he did a similar thing yesterday i told as we are dating we must all be able to correct each other when going wayward cos when he talks to me i listen and therefore when he does something wrong i should be able to tell him that i did not like what he did.but he told me he says whatever he wants to say to who ever he wants at any time but nobody must insult or saything like that to him

i still eat, just not as much as i once was. in 4 weeks i only gained 2 pounds. has this happened to any one else during pregnancy? my belly is getting bigger, but like i said i am concerend becasue i am hardly ever hungry.

i have been to a specialist before and he says everything is normal and i should not have a problem conceiving or carrying a baby.

I have a neighbor who I know is beating her 3 young kids. I can hear it going on. I along with a few other neighbors have called the police. Nothing seems to ever be done about it when they arrive. They say that since I can only hear and not see whats going on that all they can do is check on things! Is there anyone I can call besides the police who can investigate this?

Hello.... I tried this question twice before and I am still not getting answers that I was looking for... I would like your experiences... maybe I will word it differently... my husband and I have been TTC, and this month I took a test 2 days b4 and the day my period was supposed to come... both negative (however, the urine was not from the morning, but I didnt think it really mattered) well... I have not got my period... I am never late and I am 2 days late (I am NOT stressed) I took the tests my husband and I were not excited but we weren't bummed we said we would try again next month, happily, and I got ready for my period... that never came... so is it possible the tests came out wrong? when should I test again? (the reason I keep chatting on here is b/c we want this to be a surprise to our friends and family, so I just want some advice otherwise I don't know who else to turn to, but I AM NOT stressed, just curious!) and I do want to thank you all very much for your time!!!
