The child will sit when she is ready to support her body. If you are supporting her then she can sit in your lap etc but I would not MAKE her sit. She will do it on her own time. Remember she IS only 3 months old.

If you truly have questions regarding what the child should or can do, If I were you I would talk to the pediatrician

Don't try to force the baby to sit, 3 months is very young and the neck, head and spine are not strong enough yet. Try a swing or bouncer seat. Something that completely supports the baby. And same with anything, NEVER leave the baby unattended in those.

Three-month olds cannot sit as their backs/spines/necks aren't strong enough, they can be propped up, but really shouldn't be for long periods of time or try sitting her in a bouncer (one with adjustable settings).

A 3-month-old cannot sit by herself and shouldn't be forced to. It's hard on her neck and back.
When she's 4 months old she will be old enough for a Bumbo seat, which allows babies to sit up in a comfy seat using their own body weight to keep them up. My son has one and he loves it! He's also almost 5 months old.

3 months is too young to be in a sitting position

no. making her sit in that position could curve her spinal cord and cause irreparable damage.... when she is between the ages of 7-9 months she can sit on her own... maybe. but 3 months is toooo young.

No. Some babes can walk before they can sit. It happens about 7 months.

Try setting her in a boppy and stay close by. You shouldn't sit her up and then leave the room or her sight. She could easily tip over and suffocate at this age.

The baby should be comfortable in her chosen position. If she loves to sit make sure she is properly restrained so she won't fall. God love ya

You can't make a baby do anything so give her time. But prop her up on something to make her sit up. You can use a boppy or pillows.
