First off, how does the doc know that you only ovulate during your period? Have you been charting? You should chart for at least 3-4 months to get a real fix on your ovulation. Is your menstrual cycle (day 1 of your period until day 1 of your next one) 21 days or less? If not, then you don't O on your period. Do you know how RARE that is? If your cycle is in the28-32 day range, you more likely O somewhere during days 12-18.
Chart a while, figure it out. Something you can try to help reuglate you is to take an herbal remedy called Vitex. It helps to keep your cycle and hormones in check.
I really feel for your condition. Good luck in whatever you decide!

You should talk with your doctor about getting pregnant at 16. Also, there are procedures that can be done to get rid of the pre-cancerous cells on your cervix before it becomes cervical cancer. If I were you I would do everything I could to get the pre cancer cells removed and not worry about getting pregnant right away. I am wondering how old your boyfriend is, too. I'm not trying to dis you, but 16 is too young to get yourself tied down to a baby by choice. You should be going to school dances, participating in sports at school and enjoying your teen years, not making such adult decisions at a young age. I had my first baby at 19, and I had no idea what i was getting myself into. Think this through before you do it. It is a lifelong decision...

I think you and your boyfriend should step back for a moment and consider all other options available to you. Have you considered having eggs frozen for later in life for a surrogate? The possibility of adopting a baby later in life? I think before you try anymore for a baby you, your boyfriend, and maybe your mom or another trusted adult should really make an appointment with someone that can discuss ALL options avilable to you for having a child later.
Having a child at 16 makes for a very tough life. You will need a lot of help and assistance, and you are not done with your education yet making it difficult to find a decent paying job.
I strongly urge you to look at other options and make a truly informed decision before going any further.
Good luck!

By posting your question here, you are exposing yourself to BS because you are asking us what we think. While i am not judging you, i do think that science is evolving and in the future it might be easier to conceive. You are 16. Are you ready to bring a child into this world on a "what if" condition? If your mom was able to do it maybe so will you. It is ultimately your choice. However, if i were you i would finish your education (which you need) and then think about having babies. It is ridiculous to have a baby just because you think you won't be able to have one in the future. Good Luck.

Serious answer?
Statutory Rape.
Can't get much more serious than that.
If anybody in your personal circle objects to this (teacher, friend's parent, another family member, etc...) then you and your baby will be alone, while your 18 year old boyfriend spends time in jail.
I don't think waiting 2 years will be a matter of life and death.

I had my son at 16 and I'm still with his baby's father. You are very young though and just make sure that this is really what you BOTH want. Also, make sure his parents are ok with it, that way you'll have lots of help from both sides of ya'lls family. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Do it right before your period is about to come down. If you are still in high-school, I'd wait until I graduate.
