Well, you count from the first day of your period, day 12,13,14,15,16 and these are your ovulating days (usually) if your periods usually are on a reg cycle. If you arent on a reg cycle like every 28-32 days, then i suggest you purchase the ovulation kit over the counter at the store that may be more accurate.
During these ovulation days, is when the egg starts coming down and you can get pregnant during any of these days. So, use protection always unless you are in a committed relationship wanting to get pregnant.

a female ususally ovulates two weeks before her period started give or take a few days. To find the day you most likely ovulated count back two weeks from the start date of your period. She can acutally ovulate at anytime so really there is the chance of getting pregnant at any time.

Usually the time a woman ovulates is around the middle of your cycle, the 14th day. That week is the best time to get pregnant. Just remember you can get pregnant at any time, sperm can travel quite a distance.

We'll I can tell you from experience, when my husband and I were trying to have our first kid we were not successful for 3 month and when I finally got pregnant it was right after my period. As a matter of fact both my children were conceived right after my period.

Uh....both?? If you have your period on October 1, then your expected most fertile day will be the 14th. It's right in the middle of your cycle, dearie.
