I just found out that I'm pregnant. I have 3 other children but I've never had this kind of cramping and back aches in this stage of pregnancy. Is it normal?

I had lower back pain and a crampy feeling for a few days with both my pregnancies. I figured my period was coming a few days late, but in never came. I have both boys, maybe it's a sign a boy might be on the way!;)

I think that people who get on here and criticize your question are completely ignorant!! They don't even realize most doctors won't even see you until you are almost out of your first trimester, and I don't know how far along you are, but it must not be that far being as you just found out. 4 days before I found out, I had funny cramps in the center of my tummy along with a back ache, the medical sites say that dull cramping is normal. And as long as there is no bleeding accompaning these cramps you should be ok. BTW i am 5 weeks pregnant! Congrats and God bless you!!!

You didn't say how far along you are but if it's in the beginning stages of pregnancy than I would say no, it's not normal. Call your doctor right away or go to the hospital if the pain is bad. Better safe than sorry, right?

You need to contact you OB right away. It could be nothing, but it could be signs of a miscarriage. Please call your doctor. Take care.

why are you asking yahoo this cant you understand this is a medical question for your doctor not innocent laypeople who do not have your medical history in front of them.
