You can get irregular menstrual periods while breastfeeding. My daughter is going to be 9months in a week and i've had my period twice since giving birth. The first time I just spotted. The second time my period came for 7 days.
I guess it depends on how much you are breastfeeding and how your body is.
Good luck!

Yes. This is because -- and do NOT rely on this as a method of birth control!! -- the hormones that are released during breast feeding often inhibit estrogen production and ovulation, so your cycles will be irregular.
You should talk to your OB/GYN about this, especially if you're having difficult periods (you don't want to be anemic while breast feeding), or if you don't want to become pregnant so soon after this baby.

Yes, because milk production interferes with the hormones involved during menstruation. The levels needed to produce ovulation can sometimes be too low because of the amount of milk that is being produced in that milk, so you can suffer irregularities in what you are used to being a normal regular cycle.

Yes.
If the frequency of nursing varies, the length of your cycle may vary as well. For example, if baby nurses a lot more one month (teething, growth spurt, illness) then your cycle may be longer than usual. If baby nurses less, your cycle may be shorter.

Absolutely. A lot of women don't even get period while breatfeeding and are under impression "no period-can't get pregnant"
That's wrong, you can get pregnant anytime.
