possibly, your body is producing too much estrogen too early in your pregnancy. in England what they do in this case "threaten miscarriage" they increase progesterone until the pregnancy is saved.

In the first trimester of 3 of my pregnancies, I had light bleeding that eventually stopped around 13 weeks. My doctor's advice: If it is meant to be, it will be. He didn't tell me to go on bedrest or change anything, but not to take up skydiving or anything new exercise-wise. If a miscarriage is going to happen, there really isn't a way to stop it. I think in my case, it had something to do with coming off of depo-provera. (My other two pregnancies w/o depo didn't have the bleeding!).

Of course, there can be other reasons for miscarriage -- if you have a history of them, you really should be in close contact with your doctor. He/she will know your own situation best. But I know that just because there is some spotting or light bleeding, it does not spell the end of the pregnancy.

Good luck!

Not really, unless it is a 2nd or 3rd trimester miscarriage, which are rare. And still, they can only try to deliver the baby and go from there. Just follow docs intructions like best rest, fluids, etc etc and play the wait game. I know it'a hard! Good Luck!

Sometimes if its after 24 weeks then there is a chance of survival. Anytime before is very rare. If there's a big chance of a miscarriage for you I would stay up off my feet, get plenty of fluids, take my prenatal and do everything the doc. says to do. I hope that everything works out for you!!!

Possibly, strict bedrest, increase fluids, and rest. Good luck, and remember, most of the cases of misscarriages are because something with the baby is not forming properly, and its natures way. Try to keep your spirits up, and if it happens, just have faith that soon you will have a healthy succesful pregnancy and a new baby. At least you know you can concieve, and that it the first step. Thoughts and prayers with you.

Sometimes, yes. See a doctor follow his orders, usually they say to stay in bed for a period of time.

It depends on the reason for the possible threat.are you under allot of stress? if so try to make your life stress free. you need to try to stay in bed rest drink allot of water and tell your baby how much you already love him or her and how much you want them to be born.believe me you can speak life or death into your life so speak life.I will pray for you and the safe arrival of your baby.let me know how things go.
