I am very worried and have told her time and time again not to. But she insists that it wont hurt the baby. She told me if i could find proof it did, that she would stop.

Yesterday I went to the bank, and spoke to a teller who was really upset. She said she had gotten a call from the school, and her 12 year old daughter stood up in class, and told her teacher to **** off!! The mother was so upset she could barely count my cash. She said the prinicipal even said her daughter told her she is never home. The woman works all day to provide for her two children. She is a single mother that is chastised for not being at home with her children so she can provide a living for them. She receives very little benefits from the government, but because of this her family is put under a microscope. In the meantime the all governing eye points the finger at her. I felt so bad for her. She was in tears crying what do I do? I try so hard but it never seems to be enough, she said. My question is when do we as a society recognize that in essence we should be pointing the finger at ourselves for failing mothers like this who try so very hard.

there fine. It's the youngest two I'm worried about, they hate each other, the names they call one another is a shame...they'v wished eachother dead I dont know how many times... I've tried grounding them, talking to them...it's ok for a while and then there back to it again... I'v heard of sibling riverly but this is getting out of hand.. can anyone suggest anything for me....

I have gestational diabetes and my sugar level has been high,so my dr wants me to fax her in what its been. Does anyone know if there is any time of chart or anything online you can print so I can have these writen out on an actual chart other than just writing them on paper..? Any sites with the charts I can print out or anything?

Is it normal and is it healthy for an 8½ week old baby girl to be sleeping for 10 hours straight???

I put my daughter down for bed last night at midnight, and here it is at 10:30am.

good sites with discounts as i would be soo pleased if i am able to get my kids at least one present each which is the same as there friends. its not that they want exspensive pressies its that they want what their friends want and dont realise the value!! THANKS

We are celebrating our daughter's 13th birthday next month. We would like to have a small party with some of her friends but we want to keep the party at home. What are some fun, inexpensive activities for her and her friends that won't be considered lame. One thing my daughter wants is for everyone to dress up in their Halloween costumes (her favorite day) so I'd like to go woth that theme. I want to let them watch some scary movies but most are too gruesome - which I don't let my daughter watch but some of these other girls have.
Does anyone also have ideas for gift bags? Candy is the most obvious but I'd like to add something extra but age appropriate.

I read on webmed that if your menstrual cycle is longer than 35 days you may not be ovulating. Mine was 36 days this time and has been 33 days for quite a while. We are trying for a baby with no joy so far ( 3 months ) I already have three children and conceived within the first month with all three.
Only useful advice only please

My husband and I have been trying to concieve for about 9 months. My cycle is usually between 27- 30 days. The first day of my last period was August 25. It has been 35 days since August 25. I know I'm later then usual. I could go ahead and take a test, but I don't want to get too excited then be let down once again. In your opinion, should I give it a few more days or go ahead and take a test? I have not noticed any signs of pregancy, except for being a little more tired then usual late at night. Are there any women out there that expierienced this same situation and ended up being pregnant. I hope I am. The last few months have taken a toll on me. Please if anyone can help or has suggestions. We have tried everything the doctor and books say without going on Clomid yet.

My 16 month old son is going through some issues, he has chronic ear infections and is scheduled to have tubes put in plus he is cutting teeth and has a pretty good cold right now so I know he is ging through alot but when my husband comes home he will just start bawling and hang onto me for dear life, if I leave the room he bawls, if his dad tries to pick him up to give me a break he loses his mind and cries and kicks and tries to throw himself out of his arms, I know there is such thing as seperation anxiety but this is awful. And please no responses that maybe he's afraid of him because something he did to him because its not like that, my husband has never so much as smacked his hand. But when I leave the house I guess he's fine, he will play and play and laugh and run around crazy with his dad but if I am there he has a total fit if his dad even walks toward him. Is this a phase?

My 4 month old had a check up, and the doctor said he has a murmer. I have a murmer, so I wasn't worried. Then he said he wants us to go to a childrens hospital for a eco-cardiogram to see what the problem is. Now I am freaking out! Did this happen to you or someone you know?

I go to bed looking like i'm 6 months pregnant and I wake up flat, is this normal at almost 16 weeks. I went Tuesday and I heard the heartbeat and I'm carrying the baby low but It's like i'm not showing yet at all. Is/did anyone have the same thing happen?
