I had my first baby at 23 and it seems like a good age. My grandmother had her first baby at 17 just after she got married and she was happy.
It depends on the person. Some people are grown up enough to have a baby at 17 or 18 years old, some are never mature enough to have children.
And ignore the crap about being"financially ready", Nobody is ever financially ready.

Well I got engaged and was planning a wedding and before I knew it I found out I was pregnant. I was 21 when I had a baby and when I got married. I think everything is going great! People tell me I am mature for my age and always have. So I guess when you can handle all the stress that comes with it. I think over 20 is good!

Why do people ask questions like this? Like there is some magic age? The person should be married, have a stable family and income (to some degree), be responsible, and ready to have a child for the rest of her life. There is no certain age.

I had my first at 23. Personally, I think the early 20s is the best time because you have more energy then and it is easier to deal with a baby. Also, I had finished college by then and so did not have to try to finish my education and deal with a little one.

A healthy, mature woman about 25. Some women i don't think should ever have a baby. It depends on their physically and mental health as well as their mentality.

Depends on the person's financial ability to support child, emotional stability, maturity. It is a plus if they are married and the partner wants to have a child.
