It is quite possible that where the baby is low that you won't show for another couple of months. I started showing when I was 5 1/2 months. With the baby moving around as you move, the baby could be more flat than other times. Usually when the baby's butt is sticking out is when you would look further along than you really are.

Your 4 months along you should be barely showing but enough to wear pregnancy clothes. This isnt a big deal even at 5 months the baby maybe carried more towards the back. At 7 months I barely looked 5 with my first child, but its all come up front with my second! At 5 months I looked 7. Like babies there all different.

All women carry their babies differently, some high and some low. I know with my two girls that I showed earlier (4 months and on) and with my son (he sat closer to my back) I wore the same clothes until I was six months.
If, this is your first pregnancy, do not worry! As long as, your fundus (doctor's belly measurement) is measuring correctly, I would recommend enjoying the flat tummy while you can. Because, come the last four weeks of pregnancy, you will be thinking the opposite!

First of all, I'm sorry to hear about your baby girl. Second of all I had my baby 4 weeks ago. I honestly didn't get a bump until I was 7 months pregnant. I had people coming up to me asking was I sure I was pregnant!! I'm not over weight either, I'm a normal sized girl so it wasn't because I already looked big, haha. Everyone's different and every baby's different. You'll get a bump don't worry. Mine literally came over night!

This is pretty normal since your tummy muscles are still pretty firm and toned. But after a full day of meals, you appear bigger which only makes sense. I've seen young ladies that were within a few weeks of delivery and I only suspected that they were preg. Yet others, like myself, bloated out right off the bat and appeared to be carrying twins. Be glad your tummy muscles are firm. You will be thankful later. Have a happy and blessed pregnancy!!

It's normal. This happens from your sleeping position. The later the day goes on, the more you look pregnant...then you start all over again the next day. It can be frustrating. I'm 27 weeks and I look bigger later in the day and evening. Its just the postion you and the baby are in during the night hours of sleeping.

When i was pregnant i did not show at all. People did not believe i was pregnant at all (including when i would go to the er for pains) I only gained 11 pounds but i still wore my jeans (size 9)...I felt and seen my baby move even though my belly was not sticking out. Everyone is different-some show when others don't or they don't until way later on. I am sure you are fine but still see your doc to make sure and put your mind at ease.
good luck and congrats!!!

Don't worry! People were so surprised when I told them that I was 4 or 5 months pregnant because I was so small. I'm 7 months now and I'm still on the small side, but it's obvious that i'm prego.
Congratulations!

Yes this is perfectly normal, especially if this is your first baby. The same thing happened to me. I went to bed one night when I was 23 weeks pregnant, and woke up the next morning looking like I was a blimp. From then on, I looked like I was expecting until my delivery date. Trust me, your day is coming, don't rush it! Enjoy your jeans while you still can! Good luck and congratulations.

I'm almost 17 weeks and just now showing. I think all women are different. If you heard the heartbeat, then don't worry.
