cause she wasn't eating right and what she would eat, she would throw up. The Dr. told me that she has acid reflux and she also has colic. But he didn't give anything for her. What can I give her for relief until she sees her pediatrician? BTW, shes a month old today.

I am currently 6 days past implantation bleeding and was wondering if its too soon to take a hpt. I took one on 9/22 and it was neg. my last period was 8/20-8/25. I think I may have had implantation bleeding on 9/17. It was when I should have had my period but it was very light (mainly there only when I used the ladies room). Also this month I had terrible 'pms' symptoms wich I dont usually get....boobs were very sore, very tired, nausous, headaches, and dizziness. I have had cramps for about a week now and I also think I am developing the line on my belly already (I have dark skin so I think it appears early in pregnancy). Do you think I can test now and trust the result...I don't want to test to soon and get a false negative. Any advice is appreciated. And Yes I am going to the doctor to get a blood test but I'd like to know asap so I am hoping that someone can let me know. Thanks for Your Help.

Hi all...I had my period on the sixth of Sep. and it is now the 27th. I am having trouble with break through bleeding while on the birth control pill.

I have been on the same pill for 8 months, the first 6 months were fine and the past month or so I have had spotting daily while taking my active pills.

I haven’t missed a pill, and I took two pregnancy tests and they were negative.

I am thinking about just throwing them all out and using condoms until my hubby and I plan to conceive in January.

I still have a 3 month supply of pills left (cost me $50!), but I am sick of the constant spotting.

After 5 years straight of taking the pill, my body needs a break!

Should I just throw out my birth control pills now since we plan to conceive in 3 months?

I know that most of the time why he acts like this is to get my attention, because I work so much. For 2 years I did not work, and I was home with him all the time. He did not act this way. Now not only does he demand what he wants, but if he doesent get it he will find a way to do if for himself. For instance just this morning he wanted to watch a video, so I popped it in and started to get myself ready, then he wants a different video, I tell him no thats the one you asked for. Next thing you know I come out of my bedroom and he has pulled a chair away from the table and grabbed the movie he wanted and put it in. I told him no then he starts the screaming so I ignore him going to my room. Then he starts banging his head on the wall screaming so I come out to stop him, and try talking to him calmly mommy has to go to work, and you have to go to school. He screams noo!!!! I am in the process of working just one job, but until then I feel like my life is chaos, because of his behavior.

My wife went to the dr. she is was right around 7.5 weeks pregnant for the first test. Her HCG level came back a little high around 268,000. I found these ranges pretty much everywhere.

7 - 8 weeks LMP: 7, 650 - 229,000 mIU/ml
9 - 12 weeks LMP: 25,700 - 288,000 mIU/ml

The dr. said to come back in a few days to see if it was still rising which would be a problem. The level came back right around the same 2 days later so it looks to be leveling off and he said everything is fine. The ultrasound came back perfect (one baby :)) with the dates matching up within a day of what they should have been. We also had a miscarriage a few months ago. This was going to be her second period since the miscarriage (thought maybe the level could have not gone down all the way from last time she was at abotu 7 weeks). Anyway, does this all seem ok with nothing to worry about???

I got 5wks boy who hiccoughs alot. He is gassy to begin with, but whenver I lift his bum to wipe, he starts to hiccoghs. I give him gripe water but i like to know if there's good way to prevent it and cure it without medication. also is it true boy has weaker/gassy stomach than girl??

I have a 4-month old and I just started cereal. I've heard diffrent things.
1.should i give it to her in a feeding bottles or by spoon?
2.how often should i give it to he once a day twice?
3.also shes still nursing and I'm trying to switch her to bottles (breastmilk and maybe an occasional supplement) and I dont exactly know how to make the transition easier. any suggestion?
4. when should i start giving her juice and food? i heard 6 months but what if cereal and milk dont fill her up? can i start sooner?

shouldnt teachers teach them spelling before asking kids to write a sentence first? I sent a note asking if the other kids could do this, she said the other kids could. This being the second day of school. Not one time in kindergarden was there even a spelling list. He gotten 1 spelling list so far, school just started. Does everybodys else's child know how to write a sentence the second day of first grade? Also if my child is the only one that cant shouldnt she have sent home a note saying this and telling me theres extra help after school? I made a few calls and found out there were classes after school, I wasnt told by the teacher or sent home a note saying this. Im concerned by child is falling behind.

When I am at work my babygirl goes INSANE! It feels like she is just SLOWLY moving to every part of my uterus;however, I know she is too big for that! What is she doing? I can just watch my stomach move around like jello and then she'll kick real hard and my stomach will jump! (IT'S GREAT)
When I get off owrk and am at home with my husband...She doesn't do these types of things! Is it a certain time of day movement or how I am sitting?

Step child lives w/step mom & her father since last year. S.M. has no bio kids/1st marriage. Bio mom speaks no English, lives in another country but requested father to kid till 2009. SC also wanted to come live with father/SM "for a few years". Example pf problem: S.C. agrees to not ask for toys/treats if she wants 2 go 2 drug store with you. 3 minutes in, she's asking. U both remind her of agreement. For next 3+ hours anything U / husband says to her is met with icy silence. SM is w/her more and gets the worst of it. SM asks SC, "Where is the document your teacher gave U for lunch?" and gets ignored. SM may say, "OK, Its 9:45 PM & time for bed." Silence & no movement. Unless SM has something SC wants (a DVD/pizza/etc) this can last until the next AM! Father works 90+ hr wkly & sometimes tells S.C. to stop but is NOT CONSISTANT (One day he tolerates it, next day her lectures her about the same thing) Additionally he's said 100Xs "no counseling!". How would U handle these behaviors?

I am now 26 years old, married, a mother of an 8 year old and a 5month old, educated, and choosing to be a stay at home mom for a while. At 17, I got pregnant, had a baby girl, still finished school and college, bought a house at 19, and married last year. People still act like I am a pregnant teenager, my oldest has friends who's parents make rude comment and won't let there child come to our house. I don't see the problem. Will this go away? What can I say or do?

I go to a Catholic K-8 grade school. I am in 7th grade. At my school, in 7th grade, we get Kindergarten buddies, who we have during Mass, and other events. And in 8th, we have those same buddies but they are now in 1st grade. So, here's my problem: During Mass, my girl put her hands up her shorts, and started to scratch her "private areas." I didn't stop her, because I didn't know what to do. She stopped by herself, and did it a few times again. She is also very restless. (They are uniform shorts.) How do I stop her from doing that, without telling her why it's wrong?

I have a three year old who is all boy, and wants wants wants!!!!
We give him what he wants and it's not good enough. For instance it's not the right juice or it's not the right glass or it's not the right movie. Or he changes his mind. In the mornings when Im trying to get ready for work Im a nervous wreck. I get up early so I can spend some time with him playing before getting ready. He then starts his demands I want this I want that I try to talk to him calmly and always end up getting frustrated. I discipline him sending him to his room, and he fights me on that. I spend most of my time fighting with him to get him and I ready. I have cut corners on myself with my appearance just so that I can be on at work on time. I work two jobs right now 7 days a week. My daytime job is to maintain my bills, and my night time job on the weekends is to launch my massage carreer. I have a thirteen year old who helps out greatly with the housework, and a husband who is physically exhausted.
