I don't know if you're joking or not.
First need to know the age limit for your area.
Hawaii may still be 14 or maybe it's 16 now
New York is 17
New Jersey and PA are like 15 and 16.
BUT there is also age spreads involved.
Generally it's 3 or 4 years until a given age.
In New York if you are 16 you have problems with a boy or girl freind who is 21 or 22, but only for sex, however parents can induce the police to at least talk to the boy or girl.
If you are 17 in New York, you can go off with someone in their 50s, live with them and go to any state (such as NJ or PA or Hawaii) where the age limit is comprable (you can't go to Calfifornia, it's an 18 state) Parents can't stop you after 17.
You can't, however, sign contracts until yu are 18 in New York. So no lease agreements allowed. Month by month rent only.

I don't know what capital city is, and I am assuming that your boyfriend is quite a bit older than you are. If you are under 18, you have no choice but to do what your mom wants unless you can become legally emancipated, which is really difficult. Also, keep in mind that if you and your boyfriend are sexually active, he may be committing statutory rape depending on the laws in your state. Your mom is probably looking out for your best interests. If your relationship with this guy is going to last, it will last through this.

Dear Nat I dont know your age but I bet your a bit younger than your boyfriend. What reason does your Mother have for wanting to send you off to another state? May I inquire about your age. I would like to see you talk to a counciler soon. If your out of school there are free ones available try looking in your local phonebook for Contact they are a good starting point. I understand that it is hard today for younger ones to accept what us older ones say but it is from experience. I am sure that your Mom loves you and is just frustraded right now also and dosent know how to deal with this current problem so you can come to a happy medium. Try and sit down and be reasonable and adult Talk calmy with your Mother Find a peacful place with each other.

What's in capital city? How old are you? There's not much you can do to stop them unless you are 18. Then you can do what-ever you want. If you aren't 18 then maybe you should just listen to you're parents and keep an open mind. A lot of teens think they know it all and they really don't. Your parents are older and have been through more.

i doubt she hates you. she is probably trying to prevent you from making a serious mistake. (i'm assuming your bf is much older than you) if you are under 18, there isn't anything you can do. and your bf is breaking the law by being with you. think about it seriously, if you were his age, would you date someone your age? I'm 23 myself and wouldn't date anyone that was much younger than me. at 23 he is in a different stage of his life than you. you need to focus on being you, enjoying your youth, and realizing that a 23 year old man should not want to be with a child.

well how old are you are you under 18? I was under 18 and my parents shipped me off to a nother place to cause they didnt like my 21 year old boyfriend (now my husband) there wasnt much I could do but wait tell I was 18 luckly i didnt have much more then 4 months.
It feels hard but its worth the wait if you are really in love......

U assure your mom that u will not meet to your boyfriend. Once she will have trust on u she will not force u but for this u have to see that u make your mom believe on u. And also try to do as per my suggestion.
