When I am at work my babygirl goes INSANE! It feels like she is just SLOWLY moving to every part of my uterus;however, I know she is too big for that! What is she doing? I can just watch my stomach move around like jello and then she'll kick real hard and my stomach will jump! (IT'S GREAT)
When I get off owrk and am at home with my husband...She doesn't do these types of things! Is it a certain time of day movement or how I am sitting?
How did your belly move with you were in your third trimester?

It's mainly the time of day. Sometimes it's your tone of your voice, what you eat, who's voice she hears or even the lighting at your work. It's not a bad thing! Enjoy it while you can. My belly moved a whole lot my last trimester! My baby would move when I was around children (at work) and calm down when it was quiet. Just wait until she presses a foot or hand against your belly and you see the actual outline! THAT was crazy! Have fun and Congrads!

I swear my babies were aliens! They were constantly tossing and turning and there would be an elbow sticking out by my ribs and a foot down my by rear. I could have sworn a foot was going to fly out my butt (sorry, but it's true). It probably is the time of day or what you eat in the morning and the way you sit at work. Be thankful she does it during the day and not all night long. Maybe when you get home you're relaxed and she decides to veg for a bit. When I was pg with both girls they would be wiggling all over the place so I'd tell my husband to feel and they would immediately stop. It became a joke that if they were making me crazy I would get him to try to feel so I could get a break! Enjoy!

Hi,

Babies are all different. She could be stimulated by what you have eaten or drank. She could also be active during that time, because she is awake during the day, while you are at work.

Sometimes, at night, you might have walked/rocked her to sleep. Babies in the womb, just like babies outside of the womb sleep.

With my first child, she would always kick in the car, while I was listening to music. My 3rd and 4th pregnancy, I was so busy working (teacher) that I sometimes didn't recognise that they were kicking...until I just sat down and thought about it.

Sometimes a little sugar will jump start that kicking.

Good Luck,
Stephanie

Even when babies are still in utero, they develop a 'schedule' for sleeping and waking. Your baby is probably on such a schedule if you notice a pattern to when she moves. These patterns are individual to the pregnancy, however, it has been noted that they seem to be less motile when you are active (i.e. walking around, etc.) because these gentle movements lull them to sleep. Many mothers complain that it is when they are trying to get sleep that the baby is doing the cha-cha across their belly!!
If you want to try something to get your baby to move around while your hubby is present, crush up some ice into chips and then crunch big mouthfuls and swallow. The nurses at the hospital made me do this when they were trying to electronically monitor my babies' movements. He would jump all over the place!!
Hope this helped!!

Sometime s the baby is asleep and sometimes awake and more active. It could just be her own little schedule. She's not moving to every part of the uterus, she's just moving around inside and the uterus is stretching just like you can see your stomach stretch. She may just be trying to find a comfy position. It could also be your position. When I was pregnant it seemed like the baby was more active when I was still (like trying to sleep!) and less active when I was moving around a lot, but it may just be that I noticed it more then.

Well, I do think certain times of the day the baby is more active then others... I have two children and one on the way... My daughter was my first and she did the same thing that your daughter is...She was VERY active!! Sometimes I thought she was gonna put her foot right through my belly!! She was like that all the way up until she was born.

I am 27 weeks with a girl too, my first was a boy and he seem to kick more, but this girl seems to roll more. So I guess we are feeling the same thing, I think you are noticing it more at work because we are behind a desk and we are still and can pay more attention to it, at home we are moving around too much.

Congratulations!!!

some say ( old wives tales ) that the time when they move inside you is the time of day/night that they will be up. also when they move like the devil they are just trying to get comfortable.

during both of pregnancy my belly would look like something out of a scary movie. it would move and be poked out in weird ways. i thought it was funny. my hubby called my belly " his jello pot "

Rolling always felt SO WEIRD to me. All of a sudden i'd fell this slow weird feeling kind of like you described. They are more active when you are sitting because when you are moving you "rock" them to sleep so to speak. Luckily that slows down by about 32 weeks because they are stuck in the head down position. I'm glad you are enjoying it!

What you have there is in all probability a foot, hand or butt. My son might press his lil tush against my facet making me seem all disproportionate. Little did i be attentive to this might purely be a precursor to his "mooning degree" at age 7. My mom pronounced I used to take my fist and make it right into a ball and circulate it from one facet to a distinctive, and others could see it! that is totally known and could proceed till toddler is purely too vast to head around with ease. relish this time on your life - in easy terms you be attentive to the way it feels and its a definite 2nd between you and your toddler.
