Pregnancy & Parenting - 22 September 2006

I came home today with my husband after buying an Accuclear pregnancy test. I went and used it, and about 3 minutes later I saw something. Barely, but it was there. A very light pink line. Very very light. But it was there. Could it be? Or is it a mistake? I am late and it is possible.

I seriously do. I am sad all the time. I can't bear to put on a happy face anymore when the truth is I'm dying inside in a way. I know people have worse problems then me but I feel terrible. My mom and I always fight. Some girls are really mean to me at school. I am doing badly in English. My boyfriend started doing drugs agian and he doesn't even care how I feel about it. We go for a long time with out talking. ( we live in different but close towns). I'm sick of having my heart torn out just to happen agian. I have four sisters and am constantly compared to them all the time. Im sick of it. I hate my body too. I want the old me back the one who used to be strong and independant.What do I do?

I am a mother to a 3 year old and 22month old. On Oct 2 I will start a FT job that is M-F from 8A-5P. Now I have worked in the past but since having my kids it has been mainly PT or longer shift so I have always had like 2-5 days off.

I am exited about this job but need advice on how other working moms manage their time with family,household duties, work, and school. Oh yeah I will be taking a Chemistry class,also. My BF is here and helps but he works longer days than me.

So any advice will be helpful. Thanks

I asked why 14 year old kids think they need cell phones. I had a lot of people respond that the kids need to be able to get in touch with their parents. Where are these kids that they need a cell phone!!

At school: there are pay phones plus a phone in the office.
After school activities: same
A friends house: there is a phone
Mall: phones.

Why aren't we buying them $5 phone cards instead??

And where is a 14-year-old going without a responsible adult?

I think if we were watching our kids like we should they wouldn't need phones.

ladies i have a question to ask that me and my fiance neeed help with. I am 20 years old and my fiance is 18 and were both dead set on having a baby. we try 5-6 times a week and over 2 months no results. i took a test 2 c if my boys r good and they are and shes in great shape 2. at 1st i thought it was cause of my pensis size (3.85 inch) but i doubt that its that. please ladies we really want a kid is their anything we can do to increase the change of conceiveing one. (other than more sex lol)

For instance while teaching her to ride her bike I tell her to pedal and show her while explaining what to do she says I can't do it. This also goes along with the whole potty training thing. She simply refuses to use the toliet we haven't had any progress at all. She is always telling me she can't do it. Is there something wrong with her confidence, is this a problem? Or do all kids just do this and its a stage that she will get over?

I am 8.4-8.5 weeks pregnant and I had my first appointment at 6 weeks and a transvaginal ultrasound at 7.6 weeks. He scheduled the next ultrasound at 18 weeks. How do I know that everything is ok between now and then? Do you just assume? Also if I were to have a miscarriage or anything I would bleed correct? I just want to make sure that I can assume it is all ok between now and then as long as there is no bleeding. I do get stomach cramps but Im assuming to expect that with all the changes my body is encountering.

Sorry I am such a worry wort. Just wondering.

Please understand this question may be alittle graphic for some.

When my boyfriend and I have sex it sometimes hurts when we are in certain positions. Like earlier we were doing it doggystyle and it seemed like he was soooo deep that he was hurting me so we switched positions. When it hurts like that does it mean he is hitting something he should (like the baby) someone please help me. I know this is an odd question but I am 8.4 days pregnant and I am just worried that I may be hurting something.
