You are TOTALLY NORMAL! Your milk will come in after the baby is born. Maybe you should get a book on lactation so that you know what to expect. Or, call the hospital where you are delivering your baby and ask for a lactation consultant.

You are ok. My friend started lactating at 36 weeks, but I didn't start lactating with any of my kids until I gave birth. It really all depends on your body. My doctor told me most women don't lactate until they give birth and the baby sucks on your nipple.

Your milk will not come in until about 3 or 4 days after birth. At first you will have colustrium which is very important for the baby's digestive track. So you are just fine.

No, you're milk won't drop till a day or 2 after the baby's born; until then, you're producing colostrum to nourish your baby.

You won't lactate until your milk drops

Many people dont lactate until the baby is born and starts sucking, (like me).
Worry about other things! =>

No. It is normal to leak some colostrum, but you won't actually produce milk until after the baby is born. It is a hormonal reaction.

Everyone is diffrent. But I'd say if this is your first baby then it's totally possible that you're not. I didn't with my first until after he was born. And I'm not pregnant with my 2nd and it's still very minimal, like I have to "encourage" it. I'm sure you're fine, good luck with your baby!
